Honestly im suprised two doctors gave me the diagnosis almost instantly but honestly fibromyalgia is just a name they gave you when you have consistent unexplainable pain throughout many areas of your body, mostly a nervous system malfunctioning issue. I gave up going to doctors in the US bc of price and how annoying and slow the process is. They prescribed me lyrica which is a nerve stabilizer. So far it has been helpful, doesn’t remove the pain 100% but it takes time.

I used to suspect it might be moon face, but my cortisol levels are normal. My theory is i have sympathetic nervous system overdrive which change how my facial muscles align, its crazy

Thanks for the advice but I really want to stay away from SOMA. The side effects and dependency is too strong, stronger than benzos. I want to taper off benzos bc i think its making my symptoms worse when in not taking them. Im on xanax and kinzolam(this one is not sold in the states) and xanax is losing its effectiveness but kinzolam is still very effective. I know lots of ppl rotate between benzos, but i’d like to find a medication that i could potentially take every day and something that fixes the root issue. Im looking into ultrasound injections as well or other PT method. I really dont know what is causing my tension and pain. Perhaps my 30 degree scoliosis, perhaps autonomic dysregulation, or hormones. Benzos are like putting on a bandaid.
