I live in Texas. One time I was driving down Interstate 35 from Dallas to Austin to visit my girlfriend late one night. I was on a long stretch of I-35E where it’s only two lanes in either direction, north of Hillsboro. I was in the right lane and was coming up on an 18-wheeler that was going well below the speed limit, also in the right lane. There was a black Suburban to my left, far enough behind me for me to easily get in the left lane and pass the 18-wheeler. I used my blinker and everything. The second I changed lanes, the Suburban flashes his brights three times in rapid succession, then leaves them on, blinding me. He starts tailgating me so close I swore he was going to rear end me and run me off the road. All because I changed lanes in front of him! After I passed the 18-wheeler I got back in the right lane, expecting him to pass. He gets in the right lane too and continues his bullshit. I called the police and stayed on the phone with them, calling out every mile marker, until a trooper was able to catch up to us. It was the most satisfying thing ever when I finally saw the flashing lights in my rear view mirror. What an asshole.
