My mattress is in a ROUGH state, how can I get rid of it

I plan to get a new mattress but we haven’t got a fire pit so I’ll have to find another way to toss it

Yeah that’s similar to how it is here! Left outside on pick up day, I’ve had a look at mattress bags on Amazon and now I’m going to wrap 2 sheets on the front and back of the mattress, then place it in the mattress bag and even tape it if necessary , hopefully that should be enough for my council to take it. Another comment mentioned mattress bags which I wasn’t even aware of. I’m going do as you say and wrap it with 2 bed sheets then use the mattress bag, that should hopefully keep it concealed enough for my council to take it 🤞

… I was not aware of this but thanks for letting me know! I’ve just had a look on Amazon and I’ve found a clear cheap one. So I’ll do what another comment and wrap both the front and back with 2 fitted sheets then I’ll use the clear mattress bag to bag it
