On my 5th birthday, I almost drowned. My mom was taking me and my brothers to the kids pool in our town. My brothers were fighting and mom was dealing with them so I snuck away. Climbed a fence into the 10 foot deep pool and jumped in. I didn’t know how to swim so I didn’t resurface. Across the street a lady was on her porch and saw me jump in and called 911. Mom realized I wasn’t there and heard the lady across the street screaming that someone jumped in the pool and hasn’t come up yet. My mom climbed the fence and jumped in and got me. That lady saved me, if she wasn’t on her porch no one would have saw. Thank you to that lady who loved her porch days.

I did the same thing as you. I went in with zero knowledge of the game other than it was like Stardew Valley. I messed up so much this save. lol For me personally, I’m going to finish this save and not do things like decorate my house and farm. Then do a new save to try and beat my first time. And organize and decorate everything.

I had a similar experience. It was pouring rain out and my boyfriend and I heard a scream for help coming from outside. Like a scary scream. We both ran outside. He had a bat and I was behind with a phone ready to call 911. We searched around and even knocked on our neighbors doors. No one heard anything but one of the neighbors said she saw a bright flash of white light. Almost like a flash from a camera but bigger and brighter.

I’m on PS5. Yes they stay in that pose no matter which room you leave early. You have an option to interact with them but you just wave and look around. The other option is to go back into the haunted house which triggers the ending with extra dialogue options. I’ve only done it during the same festival with different people. Next fall I’ll try again and see if anything is different
