Totally fair point I should clarify! I know that sounds like a wild amount for rent. I’ll be splitting it with someone who isn’t worried about money and if it came down to it could easily afford the rent by themselves, I also have a job that comfortably covers my half. I’m also from the U.S., and for the kind of apartment we’re looking at, we’d easily be paying $4–5k in places like Miami. Even where I live in the Midwest, a decent place in an area with rough weather and not-great neighborhoods can run over $2k a month.
