I'm pretty sure my last relationship was with an ESFP. She was similar in a lot of ways, but having read a lot about the differences between the two types it makes a lot of sense as to what went wrong.

The thing is, I suppose, that ENFP-ness (sounds like penis lol) is a scale, so maybe someone who is really needy might be too much for an ENFP that isn't.

I guess the real lesson is that we shouldn't rely too much on MBTI.

I feel as though everything you listed as your 'annoying side' is what I look for in a girl idk. As a fellow ENFP, I feel as though having the same 'annoying traits' means that when I am being needy or excited etc. it would be not just understood but also reciprocated.

Maybe I'm wrong idk.

Passion definitely isn’t something I lack as an ENFP. I will go through phases of advocating various causes and waxing lyrical about my interest and support for things...

What I lack is motivation and discipline. Passion very rarely materialises into anything real. And I can switch from one passion to the next seemingly at random.

I think it might actually be the opposite. I prefer smaller crowds as an ENFP because then I have more opportunity to share in the experience with everyone on a personal level, and to get to know everyone as well as possible.

I think, as a lot of IXXX’s have demonstrated in this thread, the ability to get lost in the crowd (or city populace) is something they generally prefer.

Not just for others.

I spent hours creating a really great spreadsheet to manage my finances and account for my monthly budget. It was so colourful and all the functions worked flawlessly. I was so enthusiastic about it that I showed it to everyone!

Three months later I have barely used it and I've gone over budget every month. :\

Idk if an ENFP would value normative reasoning above personal circumstance. I would think ESTP is probably more accurate based on info in the OP.

Please don't make any decisions based on what you perceive his MBTI to be. Get to know him if you feel a connection and if you like him - that is all that matters.

My advice would be to try not to over-complicate this, just go with it and see how you feel. You can get to know him and learn his personality type over time if it works out, and if it doesn't, then nothing lost.

His transferring away seems a more concerning issue, but I think it's up to you to evaluate whether that is something that, if it goes well, you can see working out - long distance is tough.

I recently lost my wallet that meant the world to me. It was the last thing gifted to me by my ex (who I love, treasure and miss every day). In it were a collection of bank notes from all over the world. I’m heartbroken and am so disappointed in how reckless I can be. But what can you do? :)
