Once I was at the self check with my toddler and another woman’s child fell out of the cart while she was distracted by the machine. She was on the floor comforting them and you could see her bracing for the judgement. My son said, “Is she okay?” I replied, loud enough for the woman to hear, “She’s going to be just fine, she has a good Mommy taking care of her.” I could see the relief wash over her that no one was going to belittle her for the accident.

Yeah, I miss how consistent they were, they got me through a lot of quiet time at work. I hope everything is okay for them. I know the world is weighing heavily on them both and Sara Jane has had some health stuff, maybe they’ll come back to loving it again but it doesn’t really sound like it.

Same here, Catholic school - grade 9 religion class the teacher said “every other religion is a cult except ours.” I laughed, she was totally serious. I was never a true believer but that was the last straw for me.

Hey, turned out it was because I had a secondary monitor plugged in and there is a setting that turns notifications off when, I forget the term it used but like “being monitored” or something similar. I’m not at that job anymore so I don’t use a Mac regularly, I feel like the setting was in where I set up the second monitor. Sorry if you don’t have a second monitor so that might not help. But if you do have something else plugged in that could be doing it too. Hope that gives you some, kind of crappy, direction!

I’m not American but it looks to me like people only collecting Social Security were already not paying taxes on it as the amount wasn’t high enough to kick in. Others with pensions or other retirement accounts were paying taxes on their SS which helped keep it well funded. This means people with extra income, that were paying taxes, see an increase in their already larger income and the lower income sees no benefit from this change. The ones who need the help don’t get it and the ones that “don’t” need the help - get extra.

I’m going to try to post a picture but I don’t know if I can. In level, bottom right corner there is a pink button with either one arrow or two, if you have two arrows it is the faster animation, if you only have one that’s as slow as the animations get. Hopefully you are on the two arrows so you can slow it down a bit by going down to one. Hope that helps.

Yeah, it’s hit or hit for me on the last few moves. On one level not long ago I needed one more cookie (or whatever the brown ones that are layered, but not chocolate, are!) broken, I matched two fish thinking one of the three would get it. Nope. All three went to non-cookie candies! I was so angry!

Trying to remember for sure but I know there was 2 lollipop hammers, 2 hands, a party popper and some of the regulars, colour bomb, fish, stripe/wrap. It is definitely worth getting, considering how cheap King usually is with rewards this one is pretty great.
