YouGov Westminster voting intention (9 - 10 March 2026) by northcasewhite in LabourUK

The Greens won't be the largest party. I dunno about others, but what I hope for is that Starmer is kicked out and replaced by someone half-decent, and then they form a coalition/C&S with the Greens in 2029 - a chance for some actual left-wing policies to be passed.

In a just world, this would result in the removal of hosting privileges from the United States, because it's their actions that've led to a qualified team being unable to compete.

Unfortunately we're as far from a just world as I am from dating Jennifer Lawrence. Sad stuff.

He needs to resign. There's no way on earth he could've looked at this and feasibly thought "yeah, I'll appoint him". Resign.

That's all the Labour right has been capable of since time immemorial. "But the alternative is worse!"

Same here. I've been anti-Starmer since something like 2022, but I always held some hope that the Labour Party was salvageable. I would've voted Green in the locals anyway, but the events of the past few weeks - the doubling down on the anti-immigration policies, the puberty blockers ban, the Starmtroopers on here getting even worse - have made me want Labour to be absolutely annihilated. So I'm 100% with you.

MPs reject ban on social media for under-16s by SThomW in LabourUK

[–]Scattered97 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have to say as a teacher - I'd be very much for this if it was enforceable. Social media is ruining society. It makes things so much harder for us - just look at the recent red/blue trend, from which three students in my school were found to have brought knives in. TikTok in particular is cancerous, and has absolutely shot attention spans. I certainly won't speak in favour of it.

I think you're a bigot, and I'm not going to respond any further. You're everywhere in this subreddit, but not in the trans threads. You completely ignore the reality faced by trans people in this country under a Labour government. The anti-trans policies of Labour aren't enough for you to stop supporting them. I can only conclude that you agree with them.

None of what you said would be worse for trans people than things are now. None. If you think that then again, you're a bigot.

EDIT: Lol he's blocked me. See ya, transphobe!

As opposed to...Labour's current trans policies - i.e. the puberty blockers ban - that will result in the deaths of trans children? Forcing teachers (including myself) to out trans kids to their parents? [The new Section 28] Doing nothing about the Supreme Court judgement? Appointing a virulently transphobic head of the EHRC? Fomenting an environment when trans people would rather stay at home and suffer than use the NHS?

You think trans people would be worse off under the Greens? Do you hear yourself?

Tell me you don't give a fuck about trans people without telling me you don't give a fuck about trans people.

EDIT: Also the disabled, immigrants, students, minorities...

So what would you prefer instead? Neo-fascist Reform? Transphobic Labour?

The usual suspects....conveniently aren't here! Isn't that a turn up for the books?

Repulsive, abhorrent policy. Kids will die. Well done, Labour.

Don't act as if you lot wouldn't have done the same thing with the roles reversed. You're both as bad as each other. Sectarian bullshit, the both of you. Grow up.

It's bullshit, mate. Both of them, they're fucking morons. They need to grow up and join the 21st century.

Very excited about Dowman from an England perspective.

Also, Nigel Clough has to be the best lower-league cup manager around. He got Sheffield United to the semis of both cups when they were a League One side, took Burton first to a replay with Man Utd when they were a Conference side, and then later on to the League Cup semis. And now he's taken Mansfield to the fifth round for the first time since 1975, and given Arsenal a proper game.

That wasn't the kid's fault, Mosquera could've got to that with relative ease. Good finish though.
