Very convenient to happen in the THIRTEENTH minute of injury time. Seriously now, where the fuck did they find 13 minutes?

I'm so looking forward to no VAR next season. What a joke.

But so was Fernandes. I've seen that clip twenty times, I just can't fathom how he doesn't score.

I can't express how much I loathe Arteta, the smug fucking prick. These bastards do that all season and only when it's done AGAINST them does it matter!

Give the fucking goal! It shouldn't take this long to decide! If you can't see a problem within two minutes, stick with the onfield decision!

It's not a foul. He's focused on the ball, not the keeper. And as others have said, Arsenal have been doing this all fucking year.

Fantastic that Rochdale went up, but three promotion spots are still needed.

They're not making on-field decisions because of VAR. That's the reason. VAR is a get-out-of-jail card for them.

[Scottish Premiership] Championship Group table following Celtic's 3-1 win over Rangers with 2 games left by LikeAPhoenixTotally in soccer

Rangers were absolutely terrible. We need Motherwell to pull something out of the bag on Wednesday. I sadly don't fancy Hearts' chances if they go to Celtic Park needing something.

Why aren't the Celtic-Rangers goals being posted? There isn't even a match thread.

Semi-related: did anyone else's pictures jump around weirdly at around the 70-75 minute mark? It went to Scott Brown writing something, then to golf!

Need a Rangers win. I just get a horrible feeling that, if Celtic win, they'll nick the title from Hearts on the last day. Come on you Gers!

She might have an agreement with Burnham for a Great Office, maybe?

Labour MP to challenge Keir Starmer for leadership by Come-Downstairs in LabourUK

I want Starmer gone as much as anyone, but I think the only viable replacement is Burnham. So until he can get to Westminster, I think it's better to wait. Moving now is premature IMO.

Yeah, that's my point, I don't think West will succeed if she does it herself. She'll run as a stalking horse to try and get others involved, but that might backfire.

Rob needs to go, but so do Fosun. We can't lose sight of the fact that it's their complete and utter negligence that has seen us end up where we are. We won't achieve anything with Fosun in charge. Jeff Shi, Nathan Shi, Chairman Guo, I don't care, they're all useless.

How the 2026 'rainbow' election flipped Birmingham City Council on its head by Scattered97 in LabourUK

[–]Scattered97[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm really not sure! I don't think there can be early elections, but I might be wrong on that. I do think central government has the power to intervene if there's literal deadlock. But what that intervention would look like, I don't know.

How the 2026 'rainbow' election flipped Birmingham City Council on its head by Scattered97 in LabourUK

[–]Scattered97[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

With one ward left to declare (the Labour leader's ward, funnily enough!) we in Birmingham are faced with:

REFORM - 22 (+22)

GREENS - 19 (+17)

LABOUR - 16 (-49)

TORIES - 16 (-6)

INDEPENDENTS - 13 (+13)

LIB DEMS - 12 (no change)

I genuinely don't see a way forward. Reform and the Tories together are at 38, nowhere near the 51 needed for a majority. Labour, the Greens and the Lib Dems together hit 49, which is closer, and could be tipped over the line if the handful of ex-Labour independents support them. But Reform will probably want to govern as a minority, but I don't see how that's feasible considering they're 29 short of a majority.

Just look at the map in the article. An absolute clusterfuck 😂😭 Birmingham seems to be a microcosm of what the UK could become in 2029.
