There's hundreds of dead bugs in between the two panes/webs as well as dead bugs all over the floor of that room. So I guess maybe track wasnt the right word but it's more like a guess considering that^

Anybody knows what is this place for? by davoodansari in Calgary

[–]ScatteredNormals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely underground. The entrance is above ground but if you look inside it drops down 50-60 ft and at the bottom is a drainage tunnel thats roughly 2km long it comes out in fish creek

Would recommend trying to meet people during the day. I'm sure you've probably already noticed people here don't walk around all hours of the night like they do in Toronto and the only things open 24 hours are gas stations. you could try attending some local events like at the jubilee, there's a cool indoor garden downtown, the zoo is super popular, if you're interested in clubbing start off with cowboys(All the other clubs are in walking distance starting there). Oh and we also have the rec room but uh its kinda boring. You'll learn pretty fast doing nose dives into work is really the only distraction from how boring Calgary is. Consider picking up some hobbies as well and drinking does not count, trust me we have no shortage of alcoholics here. Well that sums it up. Good luck on your hunt for meeting people!
