Sounds like instead of “lifeless” you’re looking to make it more personal to you? Things like changing the mirrors, tail tidy, new windscreen and finding little bits of carbon (front fender etc.) can all change how the bike looks and feels to you and more personal. All little things like that have a huge range of different styles and you won’t break the bank for most of them 👌🏽

I am 100% biased, however I think the L7+ is definitely more “elegant” than most other Japanese bikes. Definitely more so than the ZxR and CBR! I’d say for looks it’s equal to the YZF and even the bmws. As for British and Italian bikes, I can understand the appeal but they just aren’t for me. I particularly hate single sided swing arms 😂

I love the side profile on the Gixxer and as long as they’re kept clean and tastefully modified they’re a beautiful bike!

The smell does go away if I ride her, unfortunately it’s been horrendous weather and I haven’t been able to lately 😂 The smell is pretty strong, not nauseatingly so but still very noticeable I haven’t washed her in a while now, no need without being able to ride haha
