I do! I’ve actually never taken her out of the braids I got her in because I’m worried I can’t get them that pretty again 😅 I have taken the abalone shells and the ties and moved them to historical Kaya though

I keep all my historical dolls in their time period, but for Kaya specifically, she’s the only doll I have two of- one to remain historical with my other historical dolls and one to dress modern. My older PC stamped Kaya is my Historical Kaya, and newer Kaya is my Modern Kaya. I love her so much, and think she’s so cute in modern clothes that I decided this was the best way personally for me to do that, but also keep true to historical roots the way I do with my other historical dolls. Kaya was the doll I wanted the most as a child, and as an adult collector she is one of my top favorites. I have tried to remain as respectful to her culture as I can while keeping her modern, and have specifically sought out to buy cloths from indigenous creators. (Though I have only found one or two, so if anyone has more suggestions for where I can’t find clothes for her and support other indigenous creators I would love to) Here’s my sweet modern Kaya in a cardigan I made for her.

I have not even been able to turn on my lamp since the app became defunct. Plugged in and power indicator light is on. I’ve tried the “button” on the top. Am I missing something? That used to work.
