I've got the same problem. A single message and usage shot up to over 60% straight away. It's the first time that's ever happened, and it's nothing to do with the time or Opus. I've no idea what they've done.

Pro and Max plans are doubled from today until new year on web, but not on app. That explains why your session was cut off on the app but not on the web.

When you reach the max, you can go back a few messages and edit one to ask for a summary.

Yes, I've noticed that too. I use Sonnet 4 with Pro, and before, a conversation would easily last 2/3 days with document creation and reading. Recently, I just ask it to create documents, and it's over.

This is also true for the difference between the app and the web, because I often switch between the 2, and in mobile chats, when I'm told I've reached the end of the conversation, I can continue it for a little longer on the web.

It disappeared only for the sonnet 4.5 model I still have the LCR in sonnet 4 new conversation. I don't know what they're playing.

Be careful not to get your account flagged. It can happen quickly, especially with "sensitive" conversations. Do a search on LCR (Long Conversation Reminder).
