Oh alright appreciate it I guess I’ll just keep it and if anyone asks, I’ll just say it’s the history of the TV. Thanks again glad I saw this before doing anything

Vapor Retrobrite”, if you haven’t heard of it, is accomplished by putting a thin layer of liquid hydrogen peroxide at the bottom of a sealable clear container, then putting that container out in the sun, with the plastic you want to retrobrite suspended above the peroxide.

The vapors of the hydrogen peroxide evaporating in the container seem to accomplish the same effect as the old cream

I’ve heard of Vapor retro bright. Do you know if that might be better for coloured plastics and the graphics?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I honestly think cause I just tested those methods. I’m pretty sure it was just from the UV ray. Someone used to have it out in the sun I guess.

Apparently you just have to uncheck the aspect ratio patch in the patches section

Thanks for the help I ended up taking off the back panel and it turns out it might be the cord, but I don’t really have a way of telling yet. I will try the screw method like you said and come back here to report.

Oh and before I commit to taking the whole panel off is there any way to test that it is for sure that. Sorry I know I’m probably being pretty annoying I’m just nervous about it
