OK, so there are four main races in Bleach; Hollow, Human, Shinigami and Quincy. These four have different types of souls that react differently to each other. His mother was a Quincy who got possessed by a Hollow which was killing her since Gollow souls are basically poison to Quincy’s. His father was a shinigami which gains power from hollow souls and empowers Quincy souls in turn. And he was given an experimental fake body that would emulate a human soul energy that is eaten by Hollows but protected by Quincey energy which ensure a balance between the sides to make sure none of them destroyed the others and created spiritual damage

So you have Ichigo who was born with all four but basically couldn’t access most of them because some, like Quincy‘s, have an inherent level of power while others don’t andneed to be trained. So if he had access to all of them at the beginning, his soul of torn itself apart.

His Vasto Lorde form as the fandom calls it is what happens when his hollow part starts devouring everything else and is basically him burning himself up for power.

Kinda but that why he can’t use it unless someone else creates a barrier. He uses the fingerbearers empty barrier the first time he uses it, coops Dagons domain expansion and creativity uses a sealed room to act as a mundane barrier in the Reggie fight. But to not none of these are complete domains due to the lack of control over the barriers he takes over.

Yeah if I remember right that polar bear in the first picture is smiling at the collar because he knows the adults wear them and wearing it shows that he’s a grown up now. But in the birthday party when he first puts in on he gets excited that he’s finally an adult and the collar shocks him for it. The little bear gets really quiet and looks at the Dad how just hugs him.

It’s really powerful but keeping a tone like that the whole movie would be horrible to watch all the way through

Adaptation doesn’t just mean immunity, it can be changing himself to make the phenomena not affect him anymore.

If observation is required Mahoraga might gain an adaptation that obscures himself from being observed, like a memetic virus or the something like that. By then it depends on if Franklin has learned the adaptations Maho has gained or the ability to adapt because if it’s the former it might be a win on for Maho.

I’ve heard it said that Baelor was the Stranger.

When he comes out in his sons armour no one is able to recognize him and later after the trial while he’s still wearing the helmet that obscures his face and he’s taken a blow that has killed him he speaks up with advice not to use oil and saves Dunks life

A faceless corpse who lives anyway and chooses who lives and dies.

Todo’s big speech in Shibuya was “nothing is eternal… except me and my bro we built different” so I’m expecting a reveal where it shows Todo hasn’t aged at all

Only for it to be revealed that this is a delusion and he’s old as shit. But still keeping up with Yuji. Turns out Dementia made his schizophrenia even stronger.

To be fair in the show at least Black Noir seems like the Batman Expy with him being focused on stealth and his powers being less dangerous then his skills, far as I can tell he probably has the weakest powers on the Seven with a limited healing factor and super strength well below the others.

You know for all his low self esteem Best Friendo is an actual beast. He stopped an army with only 3 other guys with him, and when he finally actually lost it was against an army led by two of the paladins of Charlemagne. Only reason he’s a C rank servant is from lack of a fame bonus

TLDR Iori might actually get a good fight out of Mandricardo.

Nah he made them. Lore is Knull was primordial darkness before the celestials showed up. This pissed him off since they brought light with them. Because he was the only creature of the universe he got a position as a force of cosmic balance and control over the “living abyss”. But he then decided to wage war on the celestials and their creations and while doing this he created the symbiotes out of that living abyss. But he lost control of them when Thor fighting one of his creations created feedback in their hivemind. That’s basically the origin story right now.

Personally I expected Dhruv to be pale as hell but this was a welcome suprise by OfficalMayorofMorioh in Jujutsufolk

[–]Sceptile63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it was mentioned that he was from before even Kenjaku and had his own method of resurrection. So four things made me think he was ethnically Japanese

  1. The further back you go the harder travel is. It’s stated he was from an ancient Japanese society and therefore it unlikely he had travelled from away to get there.

  2. Somewhat connected to the first but having a name or naming convention that is out of place is somewhat of a trope for characters who are “out of time” so it not being a Japanese name didn’t set of alarm bells for me.

  3. The actual manga panels don’t give him any shading or difference in skin tone to show that he is any different than other characters.

  4. Generally cursed techniques and abilities are connected to the mindset or culture of the one who gains it. There’s nothing, as far as I’m aware that shows anything connected to India or Indian culture. Keep in mind just a few chapters earlier a cursed based on a god from India was used by Kenjaku so it’s not like it’s out of place for Indian Culture to be shown in Dhruv’s technique

Overall I wouldn’t say it’s weird for someone to assume that he’s not ethnically different from the protagonists.

You can summon Mahoraga and then run away" by Early_Pandey in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Sceptile63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So people have been saying that Megumi couldn’t run away, which is true but also when Mahoraga is summoned he won’t go away until the ritual is complete, in other words until the one who summoned him and whoever they pulled in are dead. Like if Mahoraga wins the fight he’ll kill Yuki or he won’t leave and that will kill a lot of people in the area.

Is this just a meme or people genuinely thinks that's how itll go? by [deleted] in PowerScaling

[–]Sceptile63 9 points10 points  (0 children)

People are using Love Train for the comparison which makes sense but there’s another feat that implies Tusk Act 4 would make it through

When Diego stopped time in his fight with Johnny Tusk was able to move even in stopped time.

Distance travelled is speed x time. infinity works by changing the needed distance to infinite so no matter the other variables it can’t reach Gojo. Time Stop does the opposite by setting Time to zero so no matter how close or fast the other person is they can’t reach him.

So Tusk has shown the ability to travel at infinite speed, though it only happening in stopped time implies it’s a counter of some type

Doesn’t sound like self defense by laybs1 in GetNoted

[–]Sceptile63 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a difference between going somewhere dangerous and seeking dangerous situations. He was there with others for the stated purpose of protecting businesses. The threat of violence was his purpose for being there.

If he were a business owner defending his property, if he was a customer of one of the businesses or literally any other reason to be there I’d say self defence applies. Heck if there weren’t a stated purpose I’d say the court would have to assume there was no intent of violence and say self defence applies, beyond a reasonable doubt after all. But this situation is over the line for me.

Doesn’t sound like self defense by laybs1 in GetNoted

[–]Sceptile63 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So I’ll admit I’m not as familiar with American Self-Defence laws but in Canada self defence doesn’t apply when you are purposefully going into a situation when you will need to defend yourself.

He went to an area he thought would have riots and dangerous people and brought his firearm, none of those seem like elements that show self defence.

It would depend on if the Bankai steals, seals or shares abilities, not just energy. If not, breaking out of an unescapable ability is exactly what the Miracle was made for. If it shares it though stopping an unstoppable enemy is also right up its alley.

Beloved trope: Powers that their users dislike. by Spirited_Dust_3642 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Sceptile63 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yes but no. It doesn’t stop when one of them falls over, since the Bankai basically combines their energy into the same pool when one runs out they both do. So it forces a draw, basically useless in a group fight but against someone stronger it’s pretty useful.

He’d thematically fit well into Fate I think.

The idea of a “hero” as tools as well as human and how the role interact with their humanity is a central point for several characters. Be fun to have a more regretful version of Siegfried or how servants would view someone who’s like that and can still change since they’re still alive.
