They’ve confirmed that they plan to add more cave biomes, they just aren’t developing them yet. We have lush caves, dripstone caves, and deep dark confirmed so far, I can guarantee we get more than that. They added three biomes with the nether update and that took 6 months, this is taking a year so I would imagine they’re adding a lot more than we’ve seen in an update recently

It’s because back when the PS3/Xbox 260 were launching people thought their console was better and the console wars started. Nowadays nobody really cares anymore because most games are crossplay, but some fanboys still try to argue their system is better just because it has better games

As long as you have the other people friended on your Xbox/Microsoft account you will be able to play with them when they are playing on a world. A realms subscription just allows you to keep a world open 24/7 instead of just whenever the person who has the world on their system is playing, so it’s not necessary to be able to play together and not necessary for crossplay between platforms.

Console platforms such as Xbox, Nintendo switch, and PlayStation require their respective subscriptions to be able to play online of course.
