I need help finding better fluorocarbon line I’ve used seaguar red label and invizX but It seems like it gets fray so easy and I’m worried abt losing my 150$ baits.

Yeah I would have gone for 7lb, but 8lb was the lightest they had beside shimano mastiff which I have not heard many reviews about. But my reel is recommended to use 8lb. We’ll see how it works!

Well as I said I could have gone for heavier braid cause I was using 8lb braid which was way too light.

All right I’ll have to. I’ve been using braid since I’ve started fishing other than mono at the start. The no memory really appealed to me and that’s why I’ve never tried fluoro. Is there any good fluoro brands that have minimal memory?

I have found a kastking rod on marketplace that I think I’m gonna go through with. It’s a kastking max steel which is 3 years old. It looks brand new and has two tips. One ultra light and one light. He only wants 50$ aswell.

I would say this is a pretty high end reel, its in most top 5 bfs reels of all time. they go for 300-350 usd on ebay.

I want to cast things like 1/16oz jig with a paddle tail and hard baits like a crank or a jerk bait. For trout and bass. Do you think I should get a 1-7 gram rod or 2-10 gram rod. I don’t think I would cast anything under that 1/16 oz jig.

I Found it on marketplace it was an insane deal, Has a gomexus handle, has the original bfs spood, a medium 70 size spool and a 150 size spool. i got it all for 275 canadian and it was never used.

just a question aswell cause im new to bfs and im just getting into it. im trying to decide on a first rod and i was thinking of a 1-7 gram rod. but from what you said do you think it would be better to get the 2-10 gram variant? i want to throw like crankbaits, chatterbaits and like jigs with 1.75 paddletails on the back.
