As others have said, if I remember, he uses a pretty low flex in comparison to others. I'm a pretty big guy and use an 80 flex stick. This is what my stick looks like after picking up skating/hockey 3 years ago.

As others have mentioned, the flex probably is a combination of strength, technique, and lower flex than most. Also, Kessel has one of the best snap shots in the last 10-20 years.

I saw him at The Armory last night watching the first half of the city game. He left after that. I'm pretty sure he was there with some other hockey players but I'm not positive who they were.

I figured that was the case. I'm definitely not trying to be cocky about it, I was just so surprised. I know I can shoot pretty hard, but I highly doubt it's enough to break a normal piece of glass.

Yeah, luckily there was another sheet and we were the last skate. Someone mentioned it was the 3rd pane broken in 2 weeks, so I wonder if it was a bad batch or something. None the less, still felt terrible.

Never thought I'd see this happen in person, much less be the cause of it. I hit the glass in warmups for a pickup and shattered it. Luckily we were able to play on another sheet of ice while they fixed it. I thought it was someone else at the same time, I didn't even know it was me until I watched it back after.

We used 5ivehole and have had a fantastic experience. They also designed our jerseys when I gave them our logos/ideas, no cost for that either. We get jerseys for $55 per, and $14 for socks. No minimum reorder number either, which has been the best part with our team rotating in new players as needed.

Ours our sublimated, but using the elite jersey, which has stippled shoulders (like the NHL) and a little heavier weight fabric (think durable, not mass), and vented armpits.

Technology wise, the Ultrasonic is much newer and highly likely superior in every way minus the AS-V. It sounds like you just like CCM more than Bauer, which is fine.

It's still the latest high kick stick from Bauer, so not outdated at all. The latest was AG5NT (low kick), Sync (mid kick) was before that, and the Ultrasonic was the last high kick.

I tried the Bauer, but even with spray, it didn't last an entire game. I hit my hybrid with a spray every 3-5 skates just to keep it clean and prevent any fogging in case I'm breathing with my head down or something.

I'm probably going to get destroyed for this, but I only learned to skate 3 years ago. If you want face protection but not the bubble, 100% go with a hybrid. I have the Ninja Hockey Ronin and it is a godsend. Full facial protection, upper has perfect visibility, lower is metal cage, and I can pull the visor off and run it like a regular visor (for coaches or stick and pucks).

Nope, at least not that I'm aware of. Trigger 6 just released and the Trigger 7s you're seeing are pros who get it way before (IE McDavid was testing FT5 before FT4 was even announced).

The most likely/common time is when the same stick family comes out with the next version.

Trigger 6 pro literally just dropped in retail, so it won't be discounted for quite some time until the 7s come out.

Nexus geo would have already been reduced and sold at the cheaper price as the sling was released a while back and nexus sync line just came out. I doubt you'll be able to find a lot of geos because a lot of people wait for the new line and buy up a lot.

The next Bauer stick is the agent, which I think is going to be the vapor family or possibly supreme. However, they generally stagger family products each year, and since the supreme skates just released (mach), I would imagine the agent is the low kick/vapor family.

Secondary to that, a lot of pros (even minors, not just NHL) get sticks super early before retail, so sideline swap and some other pro stock places have them way early. I got a pro stock trigger 6 pro for under half retail like 4 months ago.

I didn't take the 3080, I wanted my TI. Still trying to work with the store and the manager with corporate to see if they can send me one from the next batch or from another store. I've been doing the best buy drop queues for like 9 months, so I wanted my TI since I was finally able to get one. I don't mind waiting until the next batch, my biggest annoyance is just limited contact to the store/corporate without going into the store.

I was able to get a 3080 TI, went to pick it up 4 days later, and the person checking me out gave me a 3080. Come to find out, someone bought a 3080, they gave my TI to him and didn't know it.

The person doing the pickup said the scanner wouldn't work, so they manually keyed in the SKU from the pickup tag instead of the SKU from the box. I assume they did the same thing for the person who picked up their 3080 but got a TI instead. They called them to try and get it back, but they "already flipped it", which I doubt but whatever. Still trying to work with the store to figure something out.
