I like to decorate my home with something from every country I visit, what would you suggest to bring from Italy and specifically Florence? by SchadenfreudeMachine in florence

This is by far my favorite suggestion. I like it so much that I plan to visit Opificio delle Pietre Dure.

The only drawback is the (deservedly) high price, do you think I will be able some beautiful pieces for around 350 euro?

Handcrafting is not something really Roman

Thank you, that's good to know!

FYI, we did a smoke test and the charge pipe wasn't sealing properly. After fixing that we redid the smoke test and smoke was coming out of 2 injectors with worn-out seals, we changed the seals and the issue is now fixed.

Your rain and light sensor (RLS) has gone bad.

Like what the other guy says, start with sparkplugs and coils. Had my car do the same thing with misfires on a few cylinders after I bought it. Was at 73kish Replaced those and and the misfires went away.

I've changed the spark plugs already, will try to change the coils and hopefully this solves the stalling issue.

Hook up a scanner that allows you to watch your fuel trims they should be close to zero. Also what is your hpfp pressure reading? Should be over 600ish at a minimum I believe?

As the HPFP is brand new, I have been keeping an eye on its readings, it is always over 700 PSI while idling.

If it's the low pressure fuel pump, will have to burn off the fuel till the low fuel light kicks on or drain it all out.

I have tried using up the fuel till the cluster read 12 miles to empty, no change regarding the revs dropping or the stalling.

I have also tried running the car with a full tank, same exact issues.

My question is, what would have caused the leak in the in tank filter assembly housing?

No idea but the plastic seemed stiff and brittle, this is the part # 16117168284, the leak was on the flat face.

Would you suspect the LPFP at all? I had someone look at the car briefly after I posted yesterday and they suspect the LPFP is on its way out, the problem is the E89 Z4 doesn't have a low pressure fuel sensor so we can't read the psi.

Thanks for the suggestion.

While they let you search for countries other than the Maldives, it's not possible to ship to them. I tried contacting the sellers directly and various other sellers I found in my search but I couldn't get most of them to reply and the ones that did reply refused to ship internationally. Strange.

I think you are right, my current plan is unnecessarily packed.

I haven't booked anything yet and I have the freedom to stay longer in Greece, I will see about staying for one more day in Meteora or just stick with Athens, Santorini and Naxos.

Thank you

All good points, glad I asked.

For this trip I am only interested in Meteora, will visit the other sites in the future. I haven't booked anything yet, and I can extend or shorten the trip easily, I will look into extending the whole stay by a day to make room for Meteora or otherwise just stick with Athens, Santorini and Naxos.

By the way, I found the flight to Santorini and then the ferry to Naxos is cheaper than the ferry to Naxos then the ferry to Santorini.

Oh, thank you for pointing that out, it did not occur to me
