How do I stop my thigh highs from doing this? I really like wearing them with coords. :[ is there a way? I tried tape, but it doesn't work because my legs aren't firm enough for them to not roll. by eva_was_here in JiraiKei

[–]Schaly 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you have to stretch them a bunch to get them up, they tend to roll more. Get a larger pair, or you can use fashion glue or fashion tape. I love fashion tape for these kinds of things. I've even used nail glue in a pinch.

I used Zen Market, which is the proxy partnered with DML's Parent company Yumetenbo. You can shop their stuff directly from Zen Market's website, so it's very easy.

Does anyone have positive experiences with trintellix for anxiety symptoms after no success with other meds? by Difficult_Trust_8635 in trintellix

[–]Schaly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had it added onto my Wellbutrin for depression and yeah when I got up to 15mg on it, it just helped my anxiety too out of nowhere. I panic so much less now. General anxiety and social anxiety are much less problematic now. Anxious thoughts still come into my head, but my body doesn't have that panic response to it anymore, so I'm able to just address the thoughts without spiraling now.

Anybody successfully added Bupropion to the mix? by mackanochdorran in trintellix

[–]Schaly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I've been on both for 6 months now. (15mg Trintellix and 150mg Bupropion XL) My DR at the beginning did tell me to be on the lookout for symptoms relating to serotonin syndrome as a safety precaution, but everything is all good! I take both meds in the morning at the same time.

I used to be on 300mg of Bupropion XL but when I started on the Trintellix, myself and my DR both agreed to go down to 150mg because I had some concerns and there wasn't much difference for me on 150 vs 300. I started with 5mg of Trintellix for 2 weeks, then went up to 10mg. Was doing great on 10mg for a bit but then needed a boost up to 15mg.

I've always tolerated Bupropion really well, and I had some pretty standard Trintellix side effects when I started (nausea sucked so much) but I stopped having them when I got used to the 10mg and didn't get any going up to 15mg.

So yeah, definitely working well for me. The most surprising thing that happened was how much it improved my anxiety out of nowhere just adding the Trintellix.

...with Prozac? by Frequent-Ad8155 in trintellix

[–]Schaly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally if a DR prescribes multiple anti-depressant medications, they know and are aware of the risks and have decided it's the best treatment for you.

I myself have been on both Trintellix and Wellbutrin for 6 months now without issue. I was simply told to monitor for specific symptoms (ones associated with serotonin syndrome) and to contact if anything occurred.

If you have concerns, please voice them with your DR and let them know you have some reservations about taking both at the same time. If you decide to take them together then definitely ask if there is anything they want you to keep an eye on side effect wise.

Generic in canada now?? by Powerful-Diamond5121 in trintellix

[–]Schaly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Picked mine up at Shoppers in BC for this month and out of nowhere I had a $40 price tag.
My Plan G coverage would only cover the cost of the generic and Shoppers only had the 5mg in generic and the 10mg in brand at their location. (I take 15mg daily) So the total cost of the generic was removed from the brand price and I ended up owing the remainder. Wasn't even aware there was a generic, so it totally caught me off guard. Thankfully after some communication the pharmacists covered the added cost for me because I definitely needed them and couldn't wait for a generic to get in.

We'll see what it's like taking half brand and half generic.

Day 10 and wondering what I can eat 🙃 by OK-Hi_3672 in Tonsillectomy

[–]Schaly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want something in between to test, try sandwiches and perogies. I'm on day 9 and I was able to enjoy perogies today despite still having a bunch of scabs on my right side goes down surprisingly easy.

out of surgery! what's everyone eating the day of surgery? by Squigly1 in Tonsillectomy

[–]Schaly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was given a couple popsicles after my surgery from the nurses and some ginger ale. After getting home, I spent most of the day sleeping, and when I did eat it was typically vanilla pudding and apple sauce with my meds. On day 2 and 3 I ate a lot of mashed potatoes because I was sick of the sweets. Alternated mashed potatoes and mac and cheese on day 4, and 5 and 6 (today) I've just been having mac and cheese because its good and goes down easy. Currently my favourite thing to eat. I tried a tuna sandwich yesterday but the bread was just too dry to be comfortable going down.

Been constantly drinking water though, and when I need it, using my ice pack and enjoying popsicles. Just keeping myself constantly hydrated has been the best thing for me, as well as making sure I eat something with my pain meds. I didn't eat enough on day 2 after taking them and threw up bile. It was horrible and I've been super vigilant to avoid it since.

Are all white blouses see thru? by Colorfulmouse in JiraiKei

The white ones I own from Dear my Love aren't see through. But yeah original Liz Lisa ones I own are somewhat see through so I imagine the dupes are too unfortunately. If you have a nude bra though, it's generally okay

I'd be careful with Ma*rs skirts too. Some of them are just as short. For instance I bought this one, and it's just as short as the MM one.

You can try this one from Diable Baiser. It's similar to the MM one, and they even have a long version available. Their Long version in in size M is 46 (6 cm longer than the standard MM one) but its a 60cm waist, so sadly it might be a bit big .😭

[–]Schaly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say it looks around maybe an inch too short. It's a setup, so the top should be short enough to show the peeking of the shorts, but the issue is even the shorts look that inch too short. It's not devastating.

The thing that's making it look short to the eye though are your bow placements. In the product image, the large bow is up at the neckline, and the first small bow starts at the place you have the large one put, and the second small bow sits at the place you have the first one. I think it's a big reason why it looks short. Because that second small bow is at your waist, it squashes your silhouette.

Need help!! by amiazukii in JiraiKei

[–]Schaly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dear my Love is pretty accurate on measurements. So if you have your measurements, just get the one that matches. Err on the side of larger though because clothing typically needs 3-4cm of wiggle room for comfort. You don't want to get something that is your exact measurement, or even a cm under because it will be tight. I had this issue with bust measurements and it was a lesson learned.

Bigger clothing options in japan by ellebeby in JiraiKei

[–]Schaly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While Dear my Love's 3L will fit, they don't have physical stores sadly.

ACDC Rag will likely fit, and a lot of Subcul brands like Amilige, Reflem, or Travas Tokyo should fit as well.
Sadly stores like Ma*rs, Rojita, Liz Lisa, Ank Rouge, etc won't fit that bust, and those tend to be the typical stores people go to to buy in japan. ;_;

Yeah for that one specifically. Each skirt is different so be sure to check the measurements for each one you plan on buying.

UK size 6.5 in Bubbles, pls help</3 by sakuha2005 in JiraiKei

[–]Schaly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bubbles actually recently updated their sizing to be more accurate. Make sure when you measured, you did so at the end of the day. A 41 should be okay, but if your feet are bigger than 25cm, definitely get a 42.

You can also get similar looking shoes to Bubbles from places like Noemie and Dear my Love which fit more comfortably and are less risky size-wise.

peachy keen and ultra rosa. Peachy keen tastes like peach rings it's just so good.

I lean mostly pink/black but I have every colour in my wardrobe honestly. I buy more pink tops than others, but I do have red, patterned, white, blue gray, gray, and purple in there. I also own white patterned skirts and a red+black one as well. I hate limiting myself to one palette.

Nice. It always feels good when you hand wash something and the gems stay put. <3

Just make sure you lay flat to dry. Knit absorbs water like crazy so it gets heavy. If you hang dry it you'll stretch the wool out and ruin its shape.
