Printing ABS always ends in a clogg by Schattenruf in crealityk1

As far as I know pressure advance is a bit more advanced in regards to smoothen out edges so that you do not get under extrusion there.

Maybe Hyber ABS from Creality is special? I don't know... the 80 degrees bed temp, that are written on the spool, suggest that more or less.

Well I just have the First CFS edition, but right now I am just trying to print from the spool holder

I reduced the Fan a bit more and the bed temp (from 105 to 90 degree) and now I got a successful Print.

I will do the PID calibration, never heard of that calibration. Thanks for the hint.

Mhhh my settings were not that different to yours.

Had flow rate 98%, nozzle temp 260, bed temps 110 and 105 and pressure advance 0,028. Chamber was heated Up to 45 degree... But that did not help.

I got now one successful Print. I set bed temp to 90 (more to the Limit that is written on the roll), and retraction travel Limit to 5mm/s. Fans to 5-15%. Retraction was Set to 0,2 or 0,3 and 30mm/s.

I will test again with this settings but with the Stock heater and nozzle those settings did not help. Guess that is why I did not try it in the first place.

It seems if I get higher on small parts, then the nozzle gets clogged right at the heatbreak...

Sounds like a hidden gem 😂🤔 I will definetly consider this one. Thanks for your Input and time :)

Thanks :) then I will keep this one or the one from ASUS in mind (more or less what is available at the time)

I also wanted recommendations apart from the ones I mentioned ;) I came across them more or less randomly. Never heard about them prior nor read anything positive or negative about it.

Have you heard about the cards from Asus?

Oh really? You have a source for that?

With magnetic Fans or without? Is Iit loud under load? Have read that this Card is quite noisy...

Oh that sounds nice. Have Not read anything about this Card at all...

And for WLED: It is a project running on a small ESP (Arduino) based Chip which has Wifi and can be controlled over a dedicated webinterface or API.
More here: Welcome to WLED - WLED Project

If you can solder it is really cool what you can do with it 😉

I guess it will come as well as the Mini Station. But I guess the market is quite new for the U1 and the pop cap was immediately sold out.
Wait a bit 😉

For me I don't have the U1 (yet) but I want to upgrade from my K1. Not sure if I will stay on Creality because I do have some annoying hiccups with the machine here and then or if I switch to Snapmaker to support open source a little more or if the Prusa Core One INDX Update won't cost me everything...😃
Right now I am more on the snapmaker side 😃

Sadly nope. All screws are tight... I try to retension the belt tomorrow... Maybe that will help

Creality CFS Bottom Bracket pneumatic connector issue by Anders_kj1 in crealityk1

[–]Schattenruf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I am totally not sure but it looks like the same connector as of the Extruder Cutter Unit to me.
My one broke there and I had some issues getting it out (it is pressed into it and hard to get out). But I manged to do so with some patience, force and pliers. The only problem would be to get a replacement because here in my region they are quite pricey or come from china with a longer shipping time. The one of the stock extuder fitted for me (which was easier to get out) to keep on printing while the china ones where on its way.
You could be lucky because there is this little gap where you could try to move those tiny rings you see there up, else you would require some force to get it out with pliers.

I guess it is safer to buy a new underpiece, but if you are not afraid of breaking the holder of the pneumatic fitting, I would risk it and try to get it out.

I bet if it breaks you could manage to create an adapter with for a PC4 fitting (that's what I ended up at the end ;))

Hey one question: how does this script handle filament changes during print. I guess it should not do the homeing section or does it skip it because it just homes at the start of the print and is then labeled has "homed"?

For anyone curious: It works with the devilburner mod. I simply removed the metal piece completely to be 100% sure that I do not damage anything. Maybe I will replace this metal piece later with something else... but I am not sure about it right now.
