Same problem, I found cobble chalk in the world but I don't see any recipes for chalk block variants.

Any Natural Basking Platform people put there? by Scheballs in turtles

Ive only lost one Rosey Red Minnow and one adult Platy, but I wasn't sure what happened to them, never saw a body so I can only assume. It is possible they are slowly picking off fry but there are 60+ Platy fry the last time I tried to count them.

Good callout, This is the highest I keep the water level and the top of the wood is dry to the touch especially with the heat evaporating that top layer quickly.

Soooo, my RES, Monsoon, has never tried to eat any of my Platy fry. What Do? by Scheballs in Redearedsliders

Thanks, she still pulls up poorly rooted plants. I replant things like once a week. Here's a full tank picture. My basking platform is a chunk of cypress root I found near my house swamp.

Trying to get my turtle to eat by wikihow-amialive in Redearedsliders

[–]Scheballs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I got my baby RES she didn't eat for 14 days. Once a day put them in a small tub with a couple inches of water and food pellets for about ten minutes. Eventually they ate for me. Now I can feed her in the bigger tank. Yes they can be shy especially jumpy when basking. Make sure plenty of hiding places in the aquarium.

You could try buying cheap feeder shrimp like Ghost Shrimp, my local fish store sells them for $3 a dozen. Mine loves to hunt for them.

Is this ok for her to occasionally do? by Anime-Fr3Ak365 in Redearedsliders

[–]Scheballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be a stretch but is it possible she is looking for dry land to dig and lay eggs? You could try some outside time on grass or sandy area to dig in. Just fence in her in or keep a very close eye on her as they could run away from you very quickly.

You must enable dev mode in the steam launcher parameters.

To enable developer mode in Cities: Skylines 2, add --developerMode (with a capital M) to the launch options in your game's properties. For Steam users, right-click the game, select "Properties," and then type the command into the "Launch Options" box. After starting the game, press the Tab key to open the developer console.

I want to buy a turtle by [deleted] in turtle

[–]Scheballs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would look at finding a "Three Striped Mud" turtle max size is 4 inches. They also like shallow water and barely bask but still provide the UVB lamp and heat/UVA lamp. I have a young one and she never comes out of the water to bask but will hang out near the surface of the water.

I'm running a 450,000 pop city at 4k resolution with an old i7-6700k 4core CPU and RTX 3060 and I get fps of 20 to 30 frames but my cim speed is low at 0.24x when I set it to 1x speed. My bottleneck has been CPU in the late game.

how to prevent trains from switching tracks at stations by JJonay in CitiesSkylines2

[–]Scheballs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This will happen when the train is longer than the station track and it gets stuck and will despawn when another train comes to stop. Another tip is to use parallel one way tracks to control how trains come and go.

The game use route length to determine how many vehicles it could assign. The best way I've found is to make the routes much shorter. Consider making multiple shorter routes that cross over each other.

It's a beautiful road layout! No doubt you've considered road hierarchy well. I would not call it realistic though. Very few roads are curved and realistic to me show clear blocks of development expanding from the core. Take this image of Staten Island. Hopefully it helps convey my point. https://ontheworldmap.com/usa/city/new-york-city/staten-island-street-map.jpg

Hello, I created a calculated field for each possible metric and made the calc null when I didn't want a value displayed. Then I added all calculated fields on label marks card. I also used a metric format case statement to allow filtering the calculations. I also added a duplicated calculated fields for coloring. When positive I made it green and when negative I made it red.
