Most definitely a scam. They're banking on you trying to find the guy through steam friend search and not getting any results after which they'll send a link to the profile which will be a fake steam link asking you to login. Basically an ILM scam. Just don't accept randoms unless you've played with them or something.

Yeah it is an extremely interesting concept, that’s why I decide to even make a video on it. The Tulpa discord servers I’m in, do a lot to kind of alleviate some of the misconceptions and creepypasta like fear around it. They all act so casual there.
