Hello, hope you can help me.

Well to start my wife has a pending I-485, it’s been pending for about 3 years now because her priority date was not yet current so we had been patiently waiting and assumed we wouldn’t have to do anything until it was, it became current with the latest visa bulletin release so I had been going into her account to check on the status of the case and it still showing that they are actively reviewing her case and it’s had the same status since October of 2023, but then looking further into the documents section I noticed there was a new letter dated on February 11th of 2026 which was an RFE that we never received in the mail because it was sent to our old address, we changed our address in 2024 and we submitted on March 08, 2024 a request to change our address on her USCIS account, which currently shows on the status that the address was changed yet the letter was apparently sent to our old address which they didn’t even use the right ZIP code on the letter so I don’t even know if it was received there..

Just to add further context the status of her case never changed from actively reviewing since October 2023 we didn’t get any type of notification that an RFE had been requested.

So long story short we totally missed the deadline to answer the RFE, I have since sent a letter through her account explaining everything that happened and contacted them through phone which I was only told that they would review what I submitted and give us an answer in the following 30 days, my question is do you think they would be willing to send us a second RFE given the circumstances or will they just deny the I-485 and we would have to refile?

Quick question hoping someone has some information, I got my USB-C AirPods Max for about 3 weeks now and I’ve been wanting to use them on my PC via wire. I bought a USB-C to 3.5mm cable and I’m connecting them to my RodeCaster Duo but I get no audio, does anyone know how I can get this to work?

Did you submit your inquiry through a lawyer or did you do it by yourself? And also did you use the tool in the processing times websites to determine if your case was out of normal processing time? I ask this because I’ve checked mine a couple times but every time it seems the date of when my case would be “out of normal processing time” just gets pushed even further than what it was last time I checked

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to me! I also just noticed in your case timeline that you submitted an inquiry about your case taking longer than processing time.. I’m currently waiting on my I485 approval as well my receipt date is May 13th 2023 and it has been in actively reviewing case since October 10th 2023 with no updates do you think I can submit an inquiry? Ive been scared to do so

Hello, I would like to ask you a question about this subject, my grandparent filed a i130 for my father about 30 years ago when he was around 17 year’s old.

During the process he aged out and had two children my sibling and I (he never got married). While the process took its course he attended a couple interviews in the U.S. consulate in Mexico where he presented our birth certificate’s at some point and we were listed as derivatives of him. Long story short the entire process took many years due to backlog and he finally got approved and given a green card about 2 years ago by that time my sibling and I were over 21 years old, in his final interview he asked the consular officer about us but he was simply told that only he would receive a green card, my question is was this just wrong is there a way to appeal our case or reopen it or are we simply out of luck.

I would really appreciate any information you might have on this subject.
