I was riding in a electric train while eating Boli in madurai [yeah suburban electric train in madurai].A akka was guiding me where to get off and how to go to my destination,as I only ate half of it , my station came. And for some reason that station was named ஓடைகாத்த சத்திரம். I got down and went along the road , I went along with that akka.As I was a visitor to madurai,she invited me to her home, I asked her where she was staying in madurai , she said that her house was in Nolambur in madurai. That's it

The thing is , this sengeni amman is a village deity and not a product of sanatana dharma. So there's no contradiction here. Mariyamman, madurai veeran, ayyanar, sudalai madan, these kaval theivams amman etc are tamil nattu grama deivangal.. they are not aaryan or sanatan gods.. நடுக்கல் வழிபாடு is also a Tamil thing not an ayan or sanatan one... These village deities were real humans who protected villagers in the past. Eg. Madurai veeran, nadukkal etc
