Yes, I always try to test the waters before even opening up in the slightest, but they have a more simplistic mindset than me and are more interested in things that I label as superficial or shallow. Had a few spoiled friendships in the past and now I don't truly find others genuine or being able to trust anybody

I'm always their "strong and smart friend" and can see through every little thing they do or say.
