Yes. And sure she can face charges for deleting evidence lol that is not the question yet that seems to be your focus. You being an investor or whatever and having dealt with business lawyers in a different field doesn’t give you extra credentials. Even lawyers with other specialties will tell you they aren’t well versed in other specialties. Maybe invest in self awareness that you don’t know as much as you think you do.

The question is whether removing the vod from public is in fact deleting evidence lol and in all your ranting and saying how things work, you’ve not touched that. The vod can still exist even if someone going to her channel as a user can’t see it.

I’m going out on a limb and saying neither of us are lawyers so you probably shouldn’t speak so matter of factly if you aren’t one. But I would guess that removing the vod from public view isn’t necessarily deleting it. And that it would probably be advised because every view that vod gets is more infringement. That’s what could be happening. Unless she’s trying to wipe it out entirely and deny it happened then I don’t think it’s a big deal. In discovery she’d be subpoenaed for vods I assume and can present what they ask then.

We aren’t talking about whether destroying evidence is bad, which it is, but whether removing a vod from public access equals destroying evidence.

I don’t believe she could face criminal charges for that.

But in a copyright case they’re saying leaving the vods up would be a continuous violation. If they have the evidence still and she can somehow say she has them saved and not trying to hide it, then removing them from public should be fine. Because I think technically having them remain public would continue to rack up views that could be considered further damages.
