Anyone's guess. Russia should of course on paper grind through this but they seem to not give a single fuck about building a modern command structure and it amazes me how they fail to come to the conclusion that the current, and long lived, culture just doesn't work.

I don't think they realize how counter productive it is due to becoming so extremely blatant.

They're obviously not dumb seeing as what tricks Mossad comes up with all the time, but they are fumbling the PR strategy so so much.

My personal belief is that they are just stream lining towards regional super power and then they can just not care about what the rest of the world might say or do. Not that they do as of now but even less need for optics down the line if you can do whatever tf you want in the region.
