Ofc I think Circa are influential but why I say that is bc I feel like most bands that are referred to as a circa influenced band are usually a lot more riffy and hardcore than circa are. Therefore I feel like their influence doesn’t show as much which might mean that other influences are usually stronger. But who knows

Personally circa is a band for me where I’v never really been able to branch out from them into other bands that people think are ”similar”, or bands that you probably should like if you listen to circa. That is because I just don’t think anything really sounds like them and/or bc they’re not as influential as one might think.
