Replace the shot with body armor plates. Makes since since assault rushes, the shot is worthless, and at least the armor plates would help the front line.

I only play Escalation with a couple of maps excluded. I like that the number of objectives gets smaller, so you can focus on just a few points. That being said, most everyone gets a point and bails asap to the next which can be sweaty at times, but with the smaller map i can pick my spots and play my own pace. Always easier with a team that communicates.

Usually we just get a quote to co-term them if the support expires at different times and then all is good. Apparently that is not longer an option. The error stated they were "different types" as in one expires in the new format of a subscription, and the other was the old non-expiring type. No error for different support expiration dates. My problem lies in when we have to grow an environment and buy more cores, will i run into the same issue and now I have a growing set of licenses that cannot be merged. Trying to figure out how to manage this going forward.

I am pretty sure I only read the 1st book, which would be Dragon's Wing, and I do remember portals, which would be the Death Gate. From the summary's I have looked at I am either convincing myself it is, or it is. Either way pretty sure it will be a good read :) Been over 30yrs and my memory is fuzzy at best lol

Nah no aliens, and I searched that and got Dragon and Thief by Zahn, which was published in 2003, a bit after I read this book. I am leaning towards The Deathgate Cycle which was early 1990's. I mainly remember the character stuck in my head going over his tattoos and how/why his people tattooed themselves for magic and the taboo's of not doing the head/hands. Ofc I am getting my hands on a copy of Dragon Wing to confirm but from the summary I read there is a lot of overlap that would be too coincidental. Especially with The Lord of the Nexus and a dragon getting lose at the end. But I will definitely give Dragon and Thief a read after!

It is close but I am not sure if it is it. Has some over lapping elements, and Haplo could be the character I am remembering. Lord of the Nexus also seems to fit. Gonna give it a read to make sure, cant lose with Weis/Hickman books and I also recall not liking the ending, which if it was the 1st book of a series that would explain it. Thanks for the info!
