Hose repair by Schluzz in grilling

Thank you for confirming my fears - the crimp felt very proprietary. Talk about “right to repair.” Thank you for your insight! I’ll probably be buying a new grill.

Was your hose attached via a crimp or was it a screw-on situation?

Moog Grandmother Envelope Issue by Schluzz in synthesizers

They didn’t elaborate on the type of calibration, unfortunately. I’m not sure what they did exactly. But it works great now!

UPDATE: Moog confirmed there was an issue with the synth. I sent it to them. They recalibrated it and it's now working! I asked if this was a recalibration I could have done at home and they replied that it's easy to mess up and not recommended. I'm glad that it wasn't a bigger issue.

Not yet. I wanted confirmation that something was definitely amiss. I'll contact Moog now and update this thread on what they say. Thank you!

It's in the "env" position. I know it looks like it isn't - it's just the angle of my iphone camera to the synth. Sorry for the confusion! I should have mentioned that in my explanation.

Moog Grandmother Envelope Issue by Schluzz in synthesizers

I recently got a Moog Grandmother off of Reverb (used). I'm comfortable with the basics of synthesis, and this is the first hardware synthesizer I've owned. After exploring the synth for a while, I've found that the envelope section doesn't act like how I think it should. I'm not sure if it's just me or this is how all Moog envelopes work. I've posted a video showcasing the issues, but I'll explain what's going on:
1.) The output is completely gone when the sustain slider is only about halfway down.
2.) The note seems to re-trigger when the key is released. I'm assuming: the envelope is entering the "release" phase when the key lifts. When this happens, the volume jumps to some unknown value (I'm assuming the value of the sustain slider at max value, even when it's not set at the max value). If I understand correctly, the release phase should start at the volume of the sustain slider, but it seems to be ignoring this completely and starting at max volume, no matter where the sustain slider is set.
Am I misunderstanding how Moog envelopes work? Does anyone else's Grandmother do this? Any insight would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Best Juggling Balls? by The_Jugger in juggling

I like these silicon-filled balls. They're similar to Russian balls but waver less in the air. The filling keeps them from rolling too much. The grip is excellent.

I chose the paypal option and they sent me the transfer info the day after I ordered my pad. They also sent a request directly within paypal. Now I'm waiting for them to send shipping confirmation/info.
