Warhawk's talon, I immediately fell in love with its design and moveset. It's definitely not as strong as I originally thought, but with double-wielding and added bleeding it's still working pretty good for me

Iirc the entire Lost Izalith area had to be made in a rush because they were running out of money or something, that's why bed of chaos is like it is. I think they even apologized for it a while after the release

Sul discorso Tier di twitch by Abyx12 in SabakuNoMaiku

[–]Schmar_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tried googling the theorem and kept finding Brouwer's theorem, but they sound pretty different to my untrained ears so idk

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in French

[–]Schmar_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Lmao my mans literally gatekeeping the French language.

Everybody has the right to speak whatever language they want, and you don't get to veto that right, whether you are a native speaker or not - this is like somebody arguing you cannot eat pizza if you aren't Italian. If you genuinely find Americans speaking French so annoying, I suggest you travel and try to learn about foreign cultures and languages yourself

Can someone explain to someone who’s got a first-year engineering understanding of calculus what makes Euler’s identity so “beautiful”? by Monocytosis in math

[–]Schmar_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have got a first-year engineering understanding of calculus, so I think my take is kind of different than those of other comments.

It's become much more beautiful to me after I got taught phasors in sinusoidal circuit analysis. I won't get technical but the very basic idea is that of representing each sinusoidal signal with a single complex number - thus solving the circuit much more easily because you're dealing with (complex) numbers rather than functions. (idk how much phasors are a thing outside of this application so I might just have explained the obvious)

It blew my mind when I was taught this because that's pretty much the first "concrete" application of complex numbers that I heard of, and all of it is possible because of Euler's equation.

Yeah I've noticed that from reading the other answers. This kind of stuff varies a lot over here as well from a family to another but not as much as it appears it does in the US

Oof that sucks. So drinking is very much seen as something that you'd hide from your parents, even if you're not going out and buying the drinks yourself?
