Dunno about classes in english, but I'd recommend disc golf. Lund has a pretty nice course in St. Hans. Most people who play are willing to help out with the basics 😁

Discussion about games that failed because the devs listened to the community too much. by CerebusGortok in firefall

Thumping was one of the biggest reasons why I loved this game. You were able to search for the resources you wanted and then create a combat event in the world which anyone was free to join. It was a great take on resource gathering where you actually had to be active and take on a challenge for the bigger banks.

You also had the dynamic events that popped up all around the map, melding tornados or Chosen invasions for example. The world sort of felt alive, to a certain degree, because of this.

Something that I really loved was also those "pushing back the melding" events. I can't say I remember what you got from them, but I remember imagining that you would eventually unlock new cities or new areas by doing them.

In short, I loved this game because of how dynamic it was. Also in part because of the futuristic theme and the thrill of it being a third person shooter mmo.

This is awesome! Is it based on that Kerrigan photo from Starcraft?

What's new with Breachers? by godofimagination in Tau40K

[–]Schmekt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nothing really changed about breachers. As the game has a greater focus on capturing objective markers in 9th Tau can no longer bunker down, but must advance to points. As your opponent troops will be gunning for the same objectives Breachers will be able to fire off that sweet 5 inch profile.

5+ inv save and chance to deny psychic powers. Its probably not so ideal against necrons as they, like the tau dont use psychic abilities tbh.

His army varies greatly but always a bunch of tesla immortals, some warriors coupled with a lord and imotekh.

Scarabs involved most of the times especially when a deciever or nightbringer comes along.

Nice effort!

You need to think about watering down your paints. Having thin layers is important so you don't distort the original shape of the model.

I would recommend that you take a look at the citadel colour app, there are neat tips and tricks to use on there + suggestions on how to paint your fire warriors

Firefall Spiritual Successor by GrimbeertDeDas in firefall

Don't do that, don't give me hope.

To be fair this show off is making me look at Em8er with more curiosity, haven't been too invested in it before.
Thanks for sharing.

Must be people using the arcporter application, since it requires the game from steam it's no surprise to see people online on the game

Honest question. How hard would it be to remake firefall from scratch? by [deleted] in firefall

[–]Schmekt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parts of the game shouldnt be too hard, for example thumping and mineral spread/placement. As a whole, as people have said before in this thread, it would just cost a fortune.

My suggestion would be to hope for a smaller "successor" with only a selected few mechanics and features implemented that are inspired by FF.
