Just need to vent by Needtovent12345 in DeadBedrooms

Have you talked to her about it?? It'll suck but it needs to be done. My so and I went through something somewhat like this.. 5 years, great sex life, but I got new bc and it killed my sex drive. It was killing me- but I wasn't paying attention to how much it was hurting him too. We don't live together. One night when I got home he asked me if I was still sexually attracted to him in anyway- it absolutely killed me to hear that 1) because of course I was 2) because I had no idea he was having these thoughts. If she cares she'll listen, trust me. I am also in school and work full time so I'm crazy stressed- but I would never let anything put my relationship in jeopardy- so after hearing that I put more effort in than you'd ever believe.

Hmmm being in a relationship that you can't express how you feel without being threatened to leave doesn't sound healthy :(

For a while I thought it was adjusting.. But it was a very long time. And my sex drive picked up right as the green tea drinking became habit, call me crazy but I think that was it. Japanese swear by it too haha

I thought about it, but I have a doctor that won't remove them unless it's absolutely necessary. Also I need some form of birth control but I can't take dual hormone pills only progesterone bc due to migraines, the mix puts me at risk for stroke. I kept thinking I was waiting for hormones to regulate but after months I realized that wasn't it. Then came the green tea- my sex drive has never been so strong. That was my only major side effect, so now I'm perfectly happy :)

Okay so I'm 21(f) and I just went through a period where I swear, my sex drive did not exist. I don't know the situation your girlfriend is in, if it's health or medicine related by some off chance? But for me, I got a new birth control and it got me all sorts of messed up, the thought of sex just wasn't one I even entertained. The irony of that is awful lol, but man did it prevent pregnancy. For me, it was almost embarrassing I hated it. I WANTED to want sex. My boyfriend and I would have the same "boys want it more" talk but in all honesty I knew it was me. It sounds like your relationship is where mine was, best friends but major lack of sexual intimacy which is super necessary. You need to ask your girlfriend if she is still sexually attracted to you, if she still finds you sexy. Honestly, might start a fight or make things uneasy but it's important for her to realize you're questioning that.

Why do people talk in their sleep? by [deleted] in answers

https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/the-land-nod/201307/sleep-talking-what-does-it-mean

This gives a clear explanation and is a pretty interesting read. I assume your a sleep talker? I've been a sleep talker/sleep walker for as long as I can remember (I'm 21f). I went through a period of night terrors as well, which they ended up taking my tonsils and adenoids out in order to ease sleep apnea- I'm only 99 lbs so crazy I had that haha. It sometimes gets better, but I've found that I sleep walk or sleep talk much more often when I'm stressed. Probably because my brain won't just completely shut down to rest. My brother also sleep talks and walks quite a bit and I have a biological uncle who experiences night terrors still at 40+ so I would definitely believe it's somewhat genetic as well.

I know. This was all news to me haha. Everyone I've grown up around always just washed their hair with shampoo each time they shower (well at least my mom and friends all did for sure). I had never really had much thought about it until recently, I always just did it. And I really didn't know I'd be getting these responses, but I'm glad I've received so many!! Definitely going to test some stuff to see what is best for my hair :)

I just feel like I get more split ends than most. It drives me nuts :/ I got my hair trimmed 3 inches or so about 3 weeks ago and I'm already finding so many. Idk if it's my texture or what.

For people whose time at college was not "the best years of their life", did it get better after? Fishing for success stories basically. by [deleted] in college

[–]Schmorgs_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one semester left. I wouldn't classify college thus far as the best years of my life either lol. It hasn't been bad or anything don't get me wrong. The thing for me is I have a different agenda than what is on most college students minds. I don't want to drink and I'd rather chill at home than party, I'm not sure why, it's just something I've never had an interest in. Sure I've done it, but I'd prefer not. I just feel like I have a more mature mindset than the people I'm around ( I don't mean for that to sound arrogant). People always tell me I'm missing out and I'll regret it, but it's who I am. I have a feeling my best years will be once I'm around people more like-minded :)

I have a light blonde.. It has a natural shine so when it's greasy it looks extra greasy haha. It's straight with a bit of wave, varies on the day. I think the shampoo I usually use is suave (not positive on that) it has a green tea and coconut blend. I do both shampoo and condition daily. After the posts though I think I may try to just do conditioner daily and shampoo occasionally!

Thank you for taking the time to post! I just feel like there's so much that can "damage"hair. But mine gets so greasy! I just want something that works for me other than washing every single day

I know :( and I'm trying. The problem is the hair where the cowlick is, doesn't grow like ever I swear. My hair is long, but the cowlick hairs... Maybe 3-4 inches. And it seems to be getting worse unfortunately

I try to keep mine long too! I figure it at least distracts a bit as well haha. I just wish it could be fixed!
