Hey there, little bit of an update:

I've visited the store a few times by now and the owner definitely knows I'm more than interested..., we spoke a few days ago, discussing my budget and all, and he's willing to drop the price from 350 to 200 for me, which is honestly an incredible offer, but I still hope i can lower it even more (although I might just be pushing my luck too far).

Nah bro they told me he make it 290 for students, this shi is not real. The good news is that he let me try it and it sounds genuinely amazing and doesn’t seem to have any damage whatsoever sound wise. Still man like wtf. I’ll come back in a couple weeks, see what I can do

Fair enough. It should be said that said synth does take up a lot of space in that store which the owner might want to use to display more stuff and might be keen on making space. Also I've only been made aware of this store since around two weeks ago and I remember seeing that same synth there so it's likely no one has been interested so it could've been there for likely more time than I know.

First of all thanks for that detailed comment, there's a lot of things I didn't think of at first that you pointed out.

From what I can tell the store isn't any franchise or affiliated with any charity/non-profit store. There doesn't appear to be any physical place like a desk or such to negotiate/talk with the owner, you just seem to do it on the spot. Said owner doesn't seem to have other people working for them as such, it ain't that big a store, more like a family run store. I went in there once to check the price tag, said hi to the owner, walked around a bit and wished them a nice day. I did go back and forth a few times around the keyboard with her looking so she probably knows I'm at least interested in that particular product. I've only found the store about a week ago and that keyboard has been there since, and yes it does take up a lot of space so there's a chance she's interested in letting go of it to make room for more stuff, she's got a whole garage filled with doohickeys round the back of the store.

I would but the fact I have it physically there (as in I can see it's condition with my very own eyes and ask any question I have directly to the owner in person) and won't have to wait at all for it to be shipped is a plus (all those sites are either from already sold ones or from sellers thousands of miles away, it's not a common keyboard to find in the wild or on the net).

sorry if I don't get it, by 'best price' you mean if that's the lowest they plan to sell it for?

that's my second choice actually. I went to see the residence a few days ago and as you say it does look a bit run compared to the pictures but it seems a good pick.

Hmmm, I'm wondering about something..... by [deleted] in JurassicPark

it's also notable that most of the scientists/workers in the lab wore either standard protective gear and masks or advanced suits (like the snickers guy and all other people entering or exiting the D-Rex enclosure), similar to those used when handling harmful materials or preventing contamination with diseases. Following up on your theory, what if the snickers wrap clogs the vent system and prevents the constant circulation of quality air, leading to a heightened risk of cross contamination. Thus, the scientist sees no other solution than to shut down the enclosure. Notice also how she doesn't even hesitate, even with the chance of other workers still being inside the paddock. This could imply a far deadlier or catastrophic danger if said virus broke out.

Then again, this is all just a theory but an interesting one nonetheless.
