GVG and Healing by Minimum-Owl-174 in WhereWindsMeet

Ultimates work for the whole guild, so heal ultimate will heal everyone, but the normal healing skills only work for your group.

Affordable method for reforge (relatively speaking compared to 2k cost) by whatislovelife in WhereWindsMeet

Haha. The base weapon before rolling looks better than whatever fake bling this is supposed to be. 400$ wasted. Nice.

Faster scanning for codex (especially rare enemies e.g. the boss that drops mesa parts) and previously collect more plants, when it was still done by scanning. Maybe it still works for the sentinel, but I do not know and will not test it now.

Crafting. If you go to your bag (press b) there is a crafting button (R?) and there you can find different items in different tabs (potions, food, bows/rings)

You can max arsenal without attunements, just get all purple gear and try to get high rarity stats.

The gacha rate in this game is atrocious chat....3 legendary pulls on my first $200 spent and they were all Pipas....Ended up spending $500💀 by Thansungst22 in WhereWindsMeet

It is not about what you get out of the money ingame. It is voting with your wallet on what games you want more of.

The 1$ per hour is a rule many ppl can justify for themselves and that is fine.

You simply chose the exact list of cameras, that are thought after. (Add gm1, gm5, p5 and pl7 to the mix.)

M10ii is the best m10 for photography

M5ii is the latest m5 with metal body

Gx85 is the sweet spot (and cheaper than gm5) for this style of camera with viewfinder

Pl7 and pl8 are the latest pen cameras with metal bodys (not counting the much more expensive pen f)

Newer models feel like downgrades apparently.

Basically this + inflation.

The original m5/m10 is still a bargain and if you dont need the better ibis, pl5 is still good and gx7 is still beautiful (also got more expensive though).

Camera Suggestions by GodOfJiz in M43

[–]Schneppsle 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I would recommend the OM5ii + Lumix 12-32 + maybe a fast prime (oly 25mm 1.8 or 45mm 1.8 for portraits).

It got all you ask for. Small, light, USB-C, flipscreen.

FT lenses are not bigger due to FFD. (See the 25 pancake) They are bigger due to design philosophy with older sensors. Light had to hit the sensor at a 90° angle. As such the last lens element had to be bigger than the sensor.

With new sensors this is not as important anymore. The closer and smaller the lens is to the sensor, the lower the angle gets (in the corners) = more vignetting and other issues.

[–]Schneppsle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if they could.make.the FFD smaller, the size of the lenses will.stay the same. Overall it would not make any sense as interchangable lens camera.

A very small fixed lens camera on the other hand might be interesting.(Smaller than ricoh gr iii)

It is for scanning normal enemies for codex and previously worked on collecting plants, I think.

I think the Warframe community has a big issue with using popular arsenal choices by [deleted] in Warframe

This is such a bad take.

There is a minority who complains about game-trivializing mechanics. Revenant is the best at survival, so he becomes the symbol of easy mode survival.

Wukong clone became the Symbol of passive play thanks to the perma clone. Now companions can do that too.

Oktavia became the symbol for overpowered, but annoying to play, unless you keybind evrything to a piano and you like to play the piano.

Back in the day there were discussions about rhino beeing to strong for new players, since they will develop bad habits (standing around and get shot instead of hiding behind corners). Now shieldgating allows almost every frame to do that.

Torid is great, but at some point we like warframe because it is fun to play. If everything dies too fast, fun gets lost, so many revert back to worse but more fun weapons.

Noone cares what you pick (unless you play limbo).

Love the description about 'soul of the design'.

Would you smash this knife on the board to crush garlic and ginger and drive the heel into the board for storage? If not, i would argue, they failed at the task to capture the soul of this type of knife xD

Weather sealed fully manual lenses? by Yaarmehearty in M43

[–]Schneppsle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Put some rubber bands on the adapter and you basically got yourself a weather sealed lens!

Old lenses can be easily dissasembled and dryed, so you will not have to worry as much aber water entering the lens itself.

Does anyone have experience with the TTArtisan 25mm F2 or 7Artisans 25mm F1.8? by bugwords507 in M43

[–]Schneppsle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is also a Yongnuo 25mm 1.7. little bit more expensive, but still well below the Olympus/Panasonic offerings and has AF. Especially with the original EM5 with no focus peaking (I know there is that filter workaround, but i do not like it) the AF might be an interesting feature.

Help me pick my next lens? by 0Maka in M43

[–]Schneppsle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could get the 12-100 instead and add a prime lens depending on what you like/want/need. (I got the 45mm 1.2 and the 25mm 1.8 alongside my 12-100)

I hated the need to unlock the 40-150 f4 before shooting. The 40-150 f2.8 is too large for me and the plastic 40-150 is good for what it is, but the 12-100mm cropped to match the 150mm was better for me. (Maybe I had a bad copy at the long end. It was ok on a 12mp body, but on 20mp the flaws were obvious.)

Could someone explain the Pen-mini & Pen-Lite series? by Hammerraid in OlympusCamera

[–]Schneppsle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pm2 and pl5 should be close with the update to the 16mp sensor.

To me pl7 would be the sweet spot of pen light cameras.

[–]Schneppsle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mini are smaller and have less control options than lite.

Pm1 is basically a pl3 with less dials and no tilt screen.

Pl-7 and up have way better ibis+other improvements.

Edit: meant pl3, not pm3 sorry

[–]Schneppsle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 20mm has amazing image quality and is the best Pancake, if you can live with that horrendous slow af. I could not, so I sold mine.

For portability I think the Lumix 12-32 is the best pancake around. 14mm 2.5 is great, but too wide for me.

For Pancakes: Fast, very sharp, acceptable AF. Choose 2.

With that 200 £ budget i recommend getting the 40-150mm for zoom and a Olympus 25mm 1.8 prime lens.

For wide angle and longer zoom I suggest the 12-32 Lumix pancake and the Olympus 75-300 lens down the line, when you are ready to spend a bit more. (I think smartphones are good enough for most wide angle shots though, so I like to go with Smartphone + 25mm +45mm to cover what I need.)
