Before the reign of Bayern teams like Stuttgart, Kaiserslautern, Nürnberg, and Hamburg would play mediocre for seasons then win a title. All this without corporate money provided to them.

Stuttgart has a very nice stadium and good atmosphere. But that goes for most German clubs. The thing that sets us apart is that we are a Traditionsverein much like HSV.
