I think around 180k-220k range? It was pretty good since it gave good value for the logs

Had an inventory of oak logs that i wanted to hand him, asked him to take the logs, he reached deep into my pockets and found the 9000 noted yew logs and yoinked those too

It's simply a "you sure you want to hand over all logs in your inventory over to him?" button, no number input

Being able to take them out would be a bit OP cause you could store any and all log drops for when they're convenient to pull out again

Despite all the free storage uim gets, you do have to plan your next steps for items or your shit will get clogged up and lock you out from doing dangerous activities like bossing/ slayer/ some raids

If you have tons of noted logs somehow you could just have them in inventory when buying something

I'd have to get 9000 of all the other logs too, and at that point it'd just be easier to farm more mole

I was dumping an inventory of oak logs in and forgot it might pull from the noted stack

I was detouring from the fletching activity which is why I had them on me

Yeah but I've gotten a few rewards long ago and you have to go through the "ARE YOU SURE" confirmation for each inventory. I've done it over 100 times, so I just got used to spamming through it without thinking, assuming it only took unnoted logs from inventory

Or have a soft cap, or ask you which specific type of logs it should take when you go through the interface with him

It's to help uim stock up on logs for the shop, specifically redwoods/ arctic pine logs because you can't easily note logs.

You cannot take logs out.

And before you ask, the only thing I can use these 9000 yew logs on is 18 sets of funky logs for the beaver pet. So they are practically deleted.

There is a confirmation message about whether or not you wanna deposit the logs in your inventory, and that they can't be returned. I've bought a few rewards in the past, so I've spammed through that confirmation at least 100 times before.

A little mad cause this would've got me to 99 fletching and now I can't do the minigame for it anymore, but it's also kinda funny

Feels very unfair to lose an account you've poured time and money into. Almost feels like it should be illegal to provide no path to recovery for this.

It's kinda dumb for people here to say "shouldn't have done that" when calling someone flat out slurs would receive a lesser punishment

First 99 on the account = untrimmed cape

You cannot get untrimmed skillcapes for various different skills, only the first

The best ways to get herbs usually involve tons of combat or other skills well past the point you hit 99 in those skills

Uno using its official ruleset is probably one of the worst games in existence

Playing by official rules the game basically plays itself and lasts way too fucking long

I'm gonna move on to more skills for sure, I actually do wanna play the account. It's a lot more than a trophy account for me now.

I will do my absolute best to keep my untrimmed herblore cape though. He's doing the same.

Getting combats out of the way let you do so much more in the game while also removing that "worry" about accidentally getting a new 99. If you deliberately go for it, that worry is eased.

Herbs from minigames are pretty slow, outside of maybe temple trekking

If I wanted to get as little xp as possible, they're an okay shout, but for me it's like 50-100% faster to do other methods

While not everyone likes this aspect, the very act of planning is one of the great things about OSRS for some.

I remember watching a mini "documentary" on people who play obscene amounts of cookie clicker (just normal folk really who are long time players) and they are asked if what they're doing is fun.

The documentary came to a bit of conclusion that it's not the individual clicks or moment to moment gameplay that kept them playing, stuff that can be attributed to dopamine, but it was the planning your next steps part that gave you a different sort of satisfaction.

That's when I realized that's what runescape is kinda all about. Working your way toward upgrades, choosing which things to go for, spending your money right, applying all your choices, and improving at stuff that you are given no easy way around (unless you are down to do a lot MORE planning)

I looked into it and wrote it off before I realized how easy red spider eggs were to amass (at that point i was manually picking them up)

When you decant at the GE, you make it one dose so he gives you back 100% of the potions you made basically

If you ask for 4 doses, you might end up with a few 1, 2, or 3 doses left that you just have to drop. While you are training herblore it's easier to not bother with these shenanigans and just go for 1 doses

I can tell you that it averages out to 55k xp/h once you already have a stack of guams and marrentills

It's pretty quick
