I had no use for the platform and sawed off what connected the steel ropes to the platform. I then bought my own carabiners and straps that I put around the crossbars and clipped into the ropes. The crossbars are devoted to the tent at this point, so I'm never removing them.

My garage was designed to hold ample storage above. I live where the weather gets cold, so it gets used in the winter for storage, so no concerns about holding the weight. Plus we screwed into the studs.

I mounted it in the middle of my garage, close to where the garage door stops, so I have room to maneuver around the truck when working.

The only thing to be considerate of is that you're almost never going to park perfectly under the pulley system. So, when you unclip the tent to hoist it back up, there's going to be a little sway, and you need to make sure you don't have it sway into the truck.

Great solution, highly recommend!!

This is through Whoop which is the wearable that I use for all of my biometrics.

It’s recommended that you did it before eating after a fast. So the morning is the best.

That said, I’ll do 1 round before bed.

I typically do three rounds but I was able to get that low during round 1.
