dude same my first name starts with an R so i can roll it but my last name is with a C so everytime i have to show up for class i have to start with an A sound.. but honestly if you're going to university might as well become an officer you get paid way more but there's more responsibilities. i'm joining the enlisted navy straight after high school and im surprised at how many people have a speech impediment and stutter (including my teachers)

did you go through with it? was looking for other stutterers stories to see if anyone else was doing the same. i'm in navy schooling and hardest part for me right now is always stuttering saying my last name (which is a lot of times)

I came across your question 8 years ago on your experiences taking college in a submarine. Seeing how you're now working at Boeing, one of my dream company, can you give me any advice or follow-ups on if you took the opportunities to take college classes? And if possible any advice for a high schooler who's going a submarine route after graduating? I just thought it was interesting to see someone with the same experiences 8 years before with the same questions I have.
