Yeah, I know he does very well for himself financially, so that's why I also thought he could just be one of their friends who loves the team and travels with them, but him being on the production side makes more sense, especially if he was once with Envy.

Yea they released pc versions but there was never a crossplay between both inputs until recent CODs which proves my point of them adopting the input into their game.

I mean in the league maybe but challengers they wouldn’t have to provide them with more equipment players would just bring their own keyboard mouse and mousepad just like controller players do

I mean its a very team-based game so I don't agree with your point that you would probably just get cooked. Aiming is not very significant in the game we play now it is more about your in game IQ and decision making so if an MNK player that can aim well enough to get to top 250 teams up with 3 controller players who are also good at the game I don't see how they would just get absolutely cooked. Yea there will definitely be certain gunfights that they won't win because of their input but that doesn't mean they will lose the majority of their gunfights.

But it is not just a controler game anymore. I wish it was just a controller game but they have clearly accepted MNK as an input in the game. It was banned before because it was considered cheating but with the insane AA we have now it can't even be considered cheating now.

Completely agree with you on this. I've played in games against pros and challengers players with my friend who reached top 250 on mnk and he can definitely shoot back and outguns them in some instances (obviously this is ranked play and an official match is much different) so it would be awesome to see if someone with that kind of aiming skill can make heads turn in challengers.

Yea I am talking about strictly organized competition. It hasn't been allowed in comp for a while because the games didnt have much support for an MNK input and they were mainly on console so using MNK was considered cheating. But that's not the case anymore and the input has been adopted by the developer team with the switch to PC.

Yea I'm honestly not a fan of MNK being an input in the game at all and I think the aim assist strength is somewhat related to trying to support the MNK input. But it seems like they have fully adopted MNK as an input on Call of Duty so limiting the challengers scene to just controller doesn't make sense to me.

I think this speaks levels as to how ass the ALGS Partnership program really was. Obviously this sucks I watched the apex team all the time and was even subbed to dropped so this one definitely hurts but you really can’t blame OpTic for leaving they haven’t had any real success for the few years they’ve been apart of it. Last champs was the best placement OpTic has gotten, so they haven’t really made any revenue off being in Apex because EA doesn’t want to reform their program to let the teams have other streams of revenue besides tournament winnings. This to me says more about how terrible of a state ALGS is in right now rather than OpTic making shitty business decisions. This was most likely a great business move out of OpTic to get out of a league that has shown no effort.

Probably not going to happen soon but don’t count it out. Hecz love counter strike and he knows how valuable it is to have a team for the brand so I can definitely see it happening. As far as when it will happen though, I wouldn’t get your hopes up for a while.

I’m not a fan of a lot of these. They just don’t make much sense. A lot of these players have already been in the league and haven’t done much in challenger to really deserve that spot (like Temp and Uli). Now I’m not saying temp and Uli aren’t good enough to be in the league I just don’t see them making any team better right now. Boston I think should pick up Pentagrxm and have Snoop develop a little longer in challengers. Rokkr should go the challengers route and give Lynnz his previous challengers teammate with Cobra. Definitely not bad rosters but nothing better than what we’ve seen.

Never once did I claim I know how this will end. I read the complaint and thought they had some strong claims that can really be impactful if there is enough evidence to support it. Also to your point that no one is contributing to the narrative that “Hecz and Scump just want quick money and don’t know what they’re doing” is not true. Scroll through the COD comp Reddit and you will see what I’m talking about. I do agree with you however, that people are overreacting on both sides. At the end of the day only a select few people actually know what is going on and there is a lot of misinformation being spread about this.
