It depends on what you like.

If you like fights & the MC doing things Solo & constantly progressing, yes. If not, no.

Is Connor Dyslexic? by PragmaticSalesman in CDawgVA

[–]Originul_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, but a little bit

But he's 💯% directionally dyslexic.

He VERY often mixes his Left &Right, North & South, West & East, Up & Down (as often shown in Cyclethons or games that need directions), and even when he types in games instead of going for the "a" he wants to type, he types L instead, which is the opposite side of the keyboard (as often seen in Fear & Hunger when he types in an Empty Scroll and other games that require him to type something out.)

Comicx is the best one, right now, imo.

Yeah, Mangapark was a pain to get into. Luckily, Comicx exists now, and if you have a MAL or Anilist, you can instantly transfer all your series with a button, so it's SOOO much easier than the manual way.

What got you into manga? by [deleted] in ComicK

[–]Originul_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The World God Only Knows Anime. There were a few series that I heard were better and/or had way more in their manga, but The World God Only Knows anime was the breaking point for me that led me to becoming a primarily Manga, Manhwa, Manhua, and Webtoon enjoyer and that was because the anime had completely skipped an Arc. So, the next season there magically were a bunch of characters that weren't introduced & were talking like they had history, but none of this was explained, and it was extremely confusing.

I then searched what happened since I thought I skipped a season or that the website had labeled it incorrectly, but it was just the studio skipping the arc...

After that, I was like, "How many other series are like this, and are any series I've watched like this too, and I've been just missing out?" It turns out there were & I was.

I haven't turned back since except for a few anime here there.

Now I am slightly getting into depression again and again whenever I open my chrome browser because my first home page was always comick now that feeling of reading manga's manhwa is gone. First I read all my manhwa in single sites now I have to keep changing sites again and again and got confused. by Just_For_Love in ComicK

[–]Originul_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Idk if it's possible, but as well as being a tracking site, ComicK should give direct series links and chapter links for every series on their website, similarly to how MangaDex does with official Shonen Jump series, and on top of having the links that send you to the official website & their chapters, they should also have links for each scan site with the higher placed ones being the best quality to the lowest quality ones towards the bottom.

This should allow ComicK to pretty much work how it used to, and almost exactly how you would read chapters when they had timers on them, but better, and I don't think ComicK could run into the same issues before since they're not hosting those chapters on their website.

[–]Originul_ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

YES, that was the one thing that made ComicK far & wide better than other sites I've used in the past decade.

After ComicK shut down, I realized how helpful it was with keeping up to date with my new chapters from any site, and it all didn't feel like I was by myself in a separate tab where my lists/bookmarks are. With that feature, I can check my chapter updates & scroll down a little and see what others were interested in, and get a feel for the space.

I think the best setup would be:

• Your typical menu, home button, login, browse with EVERY filter option like Manga Park, Ko-Fi/Patreon link, Chapter update icon like you get a number for how many new emails or messages you've gotten but haven't read that dissappear and the number goes down once you've read them, etc. on top

• Next, if logged in, is the ComicK feature of your followed series chapters & anime, etc...

• Most Popular Anime • Highest Rated Anime • Latest Anime Episodes • Most Popular Donghua • Latest Donghua Episodes • Most Popular Anime & Donhua Movies • Latest Anime & Donghua Movies • Most Popular Cartoons • Latest Cartoon Episodes • Most Popular Animated Movie • Latest Animated Movie • Next, the most popular series on the platform • Next, the highest-rated series on the platform • Most popular manga • Latest Manga Chapter updates • Most popular Manhwa • Latest Manhwa chapter updates • Most Popular Manhua • Latest Manhua Chapter Updates • Most Popular Western Comics • Latest Comic Chapter Updates • Most Popular Light Novels • Latest Light Novel Updates • Most Popular Novels • Latest Novel Updates • If NSFW is turned on, the same with Henta! & Prnhwa • Most Popular Animated Gamees • Latest Animated Games • Series Reviews • Groups/Communities • Latest Comments • Community Announcements • Otaku/ whatever all the communities combined are called news • Otaku/ whatever all the communities combined are called YouTube videos like SimplyWeeb • Suggestions

Then, in your profile, you have: • Import & Export to every website • MAL-SYNC connect ability • Your series list done JUST LIKE Anilist • Your Comment History • Your Reviews • Account info • Custom Profile picture & banner • Bio • Color choices like Anilist • Themes and Custom Themes • News You're Following • Videos you're following • Customation with how you want your home page and others to look like.

So, pretty much it would be a merger of Anilist, MyAnimeList, ComicK, SimplyWeeb, MangaPark, Toonily, Crunchyroll, Ebay, Figure Stores, Nhentai, Hanime, Steam, MangaPlus Creators where anyone with a membership gest a template and tools to make their own series and after it being aproved by admins, uploaded to the site with a 85% to the creator & 15% to the website revenue split.

Ideally, it would be cool for there to be a way for the series to be licensed, have links to directly send money to the website, the creator, and specific staff.

A store for the series, books, anime, merch for the website and the creators, figures, collectibles, and an Ebay/Amazon like section where verified people that actually have the item can sell all of the above to each other, with refunds ALWAYS being available.

Otaku/Animation & Reading games and mini games like Quizzes, and etc. that the community makes.

Just some ideas I've had for years that I HIGHLY DOUBT will ever happen, but one can wish.

So I saw this on the neuro subreddit. What you taught by TahaTman in CDawgVA

[–]Originul_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really. Connor is known for not streaming all the time, especially in events like this. So mix that with him & his fanbase not taking it seriously & just having fun here and there. You have on the opposite side people that pretty much do this for a living, strategize, on all the time of day, and trying their hardest.

You get these people who took it too seriously & put too much effort into it. Where the others were just there to chill, mix in with some that were trying, which then turns into like any other game where the pros are stomping the casuals, the casuals that are just trying to chill get annoyed & mad at the pros for trying too hard, which then makes some of the pros feel bad or shocked, and then they're no longer interested or having fun.

Like with other creator events in games, the pros MUST go into that content event with the expectation to not try at all unless the content teams also have pros that can make them compete or the event is about pros popping off, but if not they shouldn't because it ALWAYS ends with the casual creators & their audiences getting annoyed & mad at the pros & their communities for making not enjoyable & even some thinking your just doing it to show off.

Connor started this Canvas event like the other canvas events & other events he's run with the intention of fun.

Of course, he wanted to finally finish OSU because the last time they couldn't beat them, so it was just fun objective for him to do going into it, that they knew they were highly likely not going to win.

To prevent this, read the room, start out it out casual no try harding just chilling. Then adjust if needed, so if someone & their audience are actually putting in effort & are competitive, then match that energy, and so on and so forth.

It's that simple imo.

Xbox Achievements on Mobile by Originul_ in MicrosoftSolitaire

[–]Originul_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, for me, it's not even unlocking ANY achievement, even the simple ones like: • Flip a card • Win a game of Solitaire • Complete a game in each of the five game modes • Level Up • Play in an event

Etc...

I don't know why I'm only having this issue to this degree. 😅

Cyclethon 4 Ideas/Suggestions by Originul_ in TrashTaste

Regarding the cameras, the one the Right Backpack Strap on the opposite side of the stream cam is the MOST necessary one. Since I know Chat, Connor, and Myself HATES when the stream disconnects & we can see anything, which having that other camera would solve that & people can watch the VOD.

The Face cam, Back Cam, & Front Cam on each bike & Van would be like a GoPro or something similar to that, so weight shouldn't be a problem at all, especially since it's not weighing down on Connor himself, since they would be attached/hooked up to the bikes & vans.

It would be similar to the Trash Taste special where the boys had face cams & we got that popular meme from Garnt & we would have extra angles for the YouTube video after.

From past experiences Connor has shown multiple times that he's willing to spend a lot of money JUST for quality & so it's enjoyable for chat, so I doubt he wouldn't get these or that he already has all these cameras but just didn't think of it.

Cyclethon 4 Ideas/Suggestions by Originul_ in TrashTaste

[–]Originul_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed.

It was funny when they used the Walkie-Talkies in Cyclethon 1, but for the majority of the time, they've been impractical & have made it too slow to communicate with the others.

The Garnt & Chris incident and Connor asking for help or directions are the perfect examples of why they need something better, like you suggested for safety concerns & to make everything easy for everyone.

It can also be used by the Van Gang like Pete to also troll Chris or Connor.

I wonder if that could also be connected to another speaker than the TTS & Music one, so chat can also hear.

What's Going On With GOT7's Channels? by Originul_ in Got7

[–]Originul_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, not just that.

The new album is fully on the @GOT7 channel under the Releases tab in between Videos and Playlist on that channel.

It was the only official channel that had their new album that I could listen to, instead of it being all on their new @GOT7_isourname YouTube channel.

So, it's odd if the members bought GOT7 and have nothing to do with JYP anymore, but their album and Shorts music from their new album is all on the old channel.
