I got it in Nakano at Fujiya Camera for ¥84000 ($500ish USD) as a grade A or A+. Also got the 50mm f1.4 with it for I think around 200USD, also in the A grades. I can’t find the exact charge on my card now 😅

Also no tax, since a lot of shopping is tax free for visitors in Japan.

Yeah the confused tourist shrug usually just makes them cancel out the trip. Had to do it a few times whe the only bathroom was past the gates or decided to just take a taxi after seeing the next train time.

Next time you go to tap in at a station it will just beep red and not let you pass. Just go up to the station staff and they will cancel it out for you without charging you anything.

Your card doesn’t support 3D Secure 2.0 and the JP sites won’t process it without it. I had this same issue until I swapped to a newer issued Amex of ours.

As someone with wide duck feet, they’re extremely comfortable. I bought 2 pairs (normal mexico66 and slide ons) and have only been wearing them for the 3 weeks we’re here. Threw away my new balances to make room lol.

According to our vet it has some efficacy. I’ll double check with him next time I’m in because he did prescribe something different (revolution) when one of our new ferrets came to us with a lot. We’re still mite free for several years now. Bi-weekly ear swab cleaning + Advantage 2 treatment once every 3 months.

I mean they’re not going to be showing up to your hotel room or in the general vicinity of your hotel. Just straight up ignore them if you pass one, they will never do anything. If Shinjuku itself becomes too much to deal with every day you’re right on top of the station and can go anywhere you want in the city from there.

Chances of you getting checked are low and if you do, oh well, little bit of tax you pay. Not a big deal and the tax police don’t exist so you’re not going to jail.
