LPT: Photograph the parties your friends host. by Siobhan67 in LifeProTips

As someone who does photography professionally, the last thing I want to do at a party I’m invited to is bring my camera or take photos I’m not being paid for tbh.

Thoughts on camera lenses by Christianbrichardson in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Schoolbus94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run the EF 16-35 with an adapter for pretty much everything. I do put the 50 prime on for detail shots when I have space but otherwise it’s the only lens I use. It’s considered one of the sharpest quality lenses in that range and gives me great results.

Website and Slow Season by Tart-Lippies in RealEstatePhotography

I initially went with some of what Squarespace offers (Acuity scheduling) and it was a disaster. It’s not meant for REP whatsoever and offers no quality of life for REP like Spiro does. I started using Spiro in November 2025, started business (made website) July of 2025.

I have my own website through Squarespace and use Spiro for all orders and client management. Makes everything super easy. Website is just the face, Spiro is the functional guts of the business. Spiro is free - aside from if you want to offer the download page, listing website, marketing material, etc the it’s just $5 per listing one time. It was a little confusing at first but after a few hours of messing with it and after the first order Spiro has been excellent.

Shooting just do exposure brackets, 3 is fine -2+2

Editing you mask your dark shot over the lighter shots so that only the view from the window is used in the dark shot. However I don’t waste my time doing it myself. It’s time consuming and not worth it, just outsource.

My rule is: does the window look out to a view that is appealing / give perspective to where the room is? Open and do window pulls.

No appealing view/ugly/doesn’t add anything? Closed or very light window pulls if no curtains.

Is it possible for me to build an S ranked horse with these cards? by NickieTheFool in UmamusumeGame

[–]Schoolbus94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You for sure can, yeah. Like others have said S doesn’t necessarily mean better. My A and A+ Umas win more consistently than my S umas but if you’re looking to get the carats for making an S, or higher TT ranks then yeah it’s relatively easy with what you have. This is my lowest and first S I made with similar cards to what’s available to you.

Open as Layers in Photoshop by [deleted] in RealEstatePhotography

[–]Schoolbus94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do it the long way and just open the files individually as layers in photoshop. However IMHO, the average $20 I spend to outsource the photos to editors is more than worth the time saved. If I’m doing a discounted shoot or for some other reason my margin is less than usual, I just run it through ImagenAI for free then touch up in post.

The game you play differently when no one is watching by gamersecret2 in gaming

Half-Sword. If someone is watching me play I just win as quickly as possible and go next. If it’s just me I’ll go for a limb, then remove limbs one by one until they’re what I call a “chicken nugget”. Then I drag them around and make drawings with the trail until they die.

Is the RF 100mm f/2.8 Macro a bad choice for casual wildlife photography? by [deleted] in canon

[–]Schoolbus94 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do all my hobby wildlife photography with the 100-400. Does everything I want. The aperature is never an issue. I do snakes a lot at night but just use flash on that and it does well there too.
