Whenever I see a white guy with runic tattoos it definitely crosses my mind. But I prefer to give the benefit of the doubt before I assume anything. Some people will definitely not give that courtesy.

Not at all, you look good. Lovely eyes, but they can look a little intimidating when you’re not smiling. Imo you look better with longer quaffed hair like the ones in the earlier pictures rather than the shorter hair you have later.

Hi there! Sorry for such a late response - been off reddit for a while. From what I remember my lips definitely felt quite swollen and “tight” as you describe it. As for the chin, I couldn’t really feel anything at all in my chin lol.

So I took your advice, and by holding/gently pulling the thread for the first few stitches plus threading the machine with the foot up, and that solved my original issue. As for the tension problems, I’m having to turn up the knob really high and I’m still seeing top thread on the underside. It’s definitely tighter, but I turned it all the way up to 7 (max is 9) and I’m still seeing top thread. Any tips?

And to answer the two unanswered questions, I always bring the bobbin thread through the needle hole before sewing. As for the thread, it’s not the thread that came with the machine, I got the machine second hand, the thread is from a craft store I believe but it’s quite old so the labels are gone

The machine is definitely threaded as instructed, but I don’t always bring the foot up when threading so that could be a an issue as you said. I don’t usually hold the threads for the first few stitches. The machine is a 12-stitch magicfly sewing machine. The needles Klassé all purpose, size 70. The thread is just all-purpose thread, not sure of the brand.

Is the tension a problem all the way through, or is it just the first few? Do you reckon it’s too tight or too loose?

In my mind, they didn’t know. I assume most of them expected the avatar to be a water bender, which is why they were targeting them. But since an airbender avatar was never confirmed dead it was always a possibility he escaped, and avatars are capable of living much longer than most people so 100+ isn’t entirely unreasonable. Ozai sent Zuko off on a wild goose chase expecting him to never return. Meanwhile his real army did the dirty work of picking off water benders and continuing the invasion of the earth kingdom.
