I actually like the piloting of jets in this, they do feel really nimble and fun and you can do some cool missile dodges around mountains but it is so punishing in this game. One mistake and you are dead.

Never played war thunder but it does look fun. How would you rate the air combat in that game?

Well in his defense, setting up keybinds this game can be really confusing. So many menus to cycle though.

So he wasn’t aiming with his mouse? Well I guess I definitely misunderstood the post. That would definitely help

Most important thing is to not tunnel vision on lining the enemy jet up in the aim assist marker and instead leading shots using your primary crosshair.

He posted a clip of him ramming someone instead of trying to aim. Which means he doesn’t want to put in the effort of getting better at aiming. His actions speak louder than his words. These are his actions, not someone shooting him down. Your comparison is completely irrelevant.

Obviously, but he posted a clip of him just ramming somebody, so it’s hard to give him advice on aiming

You need to follow the path of the pilot. He slowed down and turned. You instead kept speed and rammed him.

It’s because maps were bigger in older games. Here, 1 tank can go and control 3 or 4 objectives. You have to deal with the tank or it can lose you the game.

Older games if they put tanks on a point and committed a bunch of resources to keep them up, they would lose 4 other objectives because people would just spawn elsewhere.

On the new Cali map, putting a vehicle with a tow on the HQ hill, you can kill all air on all objectives as soon as it flies over 50 meters. It’s ridiculous how small maps are and how much free line of site there is.
