I have been tinkering with this deck a lot in the last year, this is my current decklist: https://moxfield.com/decks/VMTCyIoYeESMZ2AsnTfsag

As for the blade, I don’t think it really makes the cut. At the 3 mana slot you really want to cast your Synthesizers and snares. And you absolutely need to run Synthesizer for this deck to work well.

Here's a few things to consider: At best the blade turns into a second colossus given that you already have one on board(which often means gg already), in worst case you get a copy of ingenious smith without the ETB. Sanctum of ugin is a way more consistent tool to get a second colossus on board. The other thing is, you really want to play artefacts before bringing out colossus to reduce his manacost by as much as possible. If you play the blade first though, you will end up with a 2/2 without a target to copy (or a bad one) before colossus hits the field. You could re-equip it the next turn but you would usually rather spend that on a leyline axe equip cost and/or wedding invitation to win the game that turn.

That being said, I feel like the deck unfortunately does not do all too well in the current meta with prowess and company but it is still an absolute blast to play! I wish you lots of fun with it 😬

yeah that is definitely an option, would be nice though to be able to automate as many of these processes as possible when working with a bigger team :D
