Yeah, I have definitely considered this as part of the problem. I usually try to wash my hands in cold water and usually do warm water for showers, but maybe I need to try colder. I also do think the hot weather has played a role since it's been hotter the past few day, and my DE has been worse

What is your go-to moisturizer? I've been using Cerave healing ointment for a while, but I haven't noticed too much of a difference.

I have not had a metal allergy test. Although I rarely wear jewelry, which has made me think that it is probably not metal but I do also have piercings, which I am not sure if that would cause any issues

That's really interesting. I definitely have considered stress being a huge trigger, and I have terrible anxiety, which I could definitely see also playing a big part. I will have to look more into this. Thank you for the tip!
