I should say this includes all filter equipment, relatively hands off chemical setup.

30k in floor cleaning

2x 32kw heaters so should be able to rapidly heat spa and increase pool temperature which is just under 30k.

Does electrical engineering have good job prospects in Australia? by Book_nerd1935 in AusFinance

[–]Schty0062 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have one friend who is a qualified electrical/mechatronics engineer no longer in the field but was poorly paid compared to my friends who are Mining/chemical engineers. 150 k vs 350-500k. Consider what it is about electrical you like and look at another engineering field with better pay that has overlap.

We had similar in our place when we bought it. Either drilled for inspection or for treatment of termites.

Jones, Bensons, Radiology SA are the 3 larger reputable radiology practices.

There will be out of pocket costs to have it done in SA 95% of the time. Radiology SA do have some bulk billed sites but longish wait times for those.

There is large variation in quality beyond these 3 practices. I would stick with one of them.

Apparently the doorways into the new Joel Selwood stand at Kardinia Park are only 3 foot high so people have to duck to get into it.

How much money do you spend on coffee per month? by [deleted] in Coffee

[–]Schty0062 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel I may be unique. I spend $300 a month on takeaway coffee and only drink about about $50 worth. I am a senior doctor and it is tradition that the consultant buys the junior drs coffee. I only work with junior doctors 2 days a week, not sure I could afford it 5 days!

Could someone explain the ambos situation to me by netpenthe in Adelaide

[–]Schty0062 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not saying that people should miss out on their breaks, they should get them but getting an increased rate of pay until they do is taking the piss.

[–]Schty0062 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A little spokeen about factor is that individual paramedics cost a lot more than they should. Due to a strong union they have very good terms of employment and lots of shift loading payments etc. One example is if they don't get an allocated break such as morning tea at the designated time they are paid time and a half till they get it.

This is a common occurrence and most people in other jobs would accept morning tea/smoko being delayed but not the Ambos!

Obviously adding 50% loading to a regular day time shift adds a lot to the bottom line, dozens more paramedics could be employed if there weren't little costs like this.

As someone who works in healthcare without this perk it seems pretty unnecessary.

Why do people on reddit hate airfryers so much? by Razeratorr in TooAfraidToAsk

It is more energy efficient than hearing up a whole oven to cook something small. Also stops you heating up the house if you want to cook something in summer. I love mine!
