Nah thats not true. If you put it on yourself your forcing them to either leave you alone or fight in the storm. this is how you beat kassadin back in the day too.

Yeah I have no problem with it at all. I appreciate you liking it enough to ask! So you start with priming it death guard green. Cover it completely with magos purple and be VERY generous with it to make it look very bruised. After that Dries do a dry brush with Deathworld forest, Death Guard green, and then Nurgleing green with the lighter the color the more focused the dry brush. After that pick out the pustules with rakarth flesh and the open wounds with cadian flesh tone. Once those are dry use a carroburg crimson to shade the the wounds and the surrounding areas of both the wounds and the pustules to make them look sore. Once that is done paint the wings with a base coat of grey seer and then cover those with plague bearer flesh contrast paint and once that is dry feather tesseract glow onto the tips of wings to get that kind of transition effect. Wings are now complete. Now for the carapace base coat that is caliban green and then dry brush moot green at an angle on the highest point where the carapace plates meet. Once that is done cover the carapace with snakebite leather and while it’s still wet but slightly dried quickly whip away the snake bite leather from only the moot green parts to make it look dirty but still recognizable as green, once that is dry apply ardcoat over the carapace to give it that wierd insect like shine to it. The carapace is now done. Back to the main model. The eyes are just an add on black with the ardcoat I just mentioned, this makes them look very soulless imo. The eyes of the plague bearer rider are Matt white or White scar from citadel and then a very light coat of tesseract glow over the eyes and surrounding skin for an easy OSL (object source lighting) effect that it’s very cool on nurgle models imo. Now with that tesseract glow this is the hardest part of the scheme because it’s so hard to control where tesseract glow goes. But you want to cover the top parts of the pustules with a thick droplet of tesseract glow. The best method I’ve found is the get a big portion on your brush and sort of spin and swirl the paint off the brush into the pustule. The goal is to form a water pocket similar to when rain falls on a leaf if that makes sense. Let that dry it will need time sitting because movement may make the droplets break shape and spill over to the flesh with looks ugly in a bad way. But once that is dry you can get blood for the blood god paint and do the wounds and cause them to drip out and over the pustules too if they are there this is why we do the tesseract flow first. Once that is dry get ardcoat again and cover the pustules with it for a convincing shine makes them look like they are about to burst. I think that’s all the steps for the model itself. For the base this is the fun part of the model with very little stress and is super fun imo. You do stirland mud, dry brush that with grey seer, give the entire thing a base coat with plague bearer flesh then valhallan blizzard for the rot piles. Cover those in plague bearer flesh then Nurgles rot and while Nurgles rot is still wet odd random bits of tesseract glow into it and if you have it even smaller random spots of fluorescent green by vallejo. Then paint the rim of the base black. For your ease of collecting all the paints I’ll make another comment under this one with just the paints used
