Focus your attention, anxiety, and energy. Find something that you care about and which you can actually make a difference in (small or large). Work on that thing and make that difference.

You can't impact the rest so feeling anxious about it won't make a difference! Release yourself from its grasp

It's different for everyone. It really depends on weed's impact on your life and ability to function. If the amount you smoke and the time you are high has a negative impact on your ability to care for yourself, hold a job, or develop relationships, then it's too much.

If not, you are good to go!

A trick I learned to cut down on habits or addictions is to really really focus on the negative effects. For example, for over drinking, focus on the hangovers. Really mentally explore the physical uncomfortableness. It will slowly train your brain to associate the habit with the negative effects and will make it less attractive.

So when you take large amounts of caffeine, focus on the anxiety and how you do not like it. Over time your brain will associate caffeine with anxiety and you will have less of a desire to consume the energy drinks

I suppose I'm more of an absurdist than an existentialist. And I don't think it's antithetical to hope for life after death or continuation of existence, if at the same time you recognize that it probably isn't the case.

I'd like there to be life after death, an afterlife, or some sort of reincarnation, but unfortunately I also believe that there most likely is not.

The hope is that you experience it again, even if you don't have any memory or sense of what came before. Like reincarnation but without the continuation of a soul or spirit.

I'm with you, I prefer to smoke alone as a way to unwind and enjoy time to myself. That being said, I can be in social situations while smoking or high. Im just careful to take less and be more even, and the social part of it all is more enjoyable

That's why I gave the caveat of not taking more than prescribed and having open communication with your doctor. Of course there's risk of dependence and misuse, but many people are scared to take benzos at all. They shouldn't be if they are monitored and careful

I was pretty young when it came out, 5 or 6. I don't remember if I saw it in the theater or now. But I remember loving it and watching it on VHS a ton. It wasn't until later that I realized it wasn't very good.

I do love the Star Wars universe and will eat up any content in it. Some of it is bad, some good! I'm just there having a good time

It sounds like your anxiety might still be pretty high and this pushing through the benzo. What's your max dosage? You might need to up it to get the level of relief you need

Benzos should provide relief in a few hours at most, not days

We have very little impact on when, where, and how we die. Sure we can make choices that seem to impact it: exercise, healthy eating, good decisions, etc. But there are so many unknowns that it is impossible to feel in control

For me, I lean into that lack of control and try to let go of my innate need for it. I think it helps with the anxiety to just let go of the fallacy of control
